Janice Wong Singapore at Paragon represents the creative vision of award-winning Chef Janice Wong, recognized as Asia's Best Pastry Chef, bringing edible art to Singapore's luxury shopping district at #B1-K28. This sweets boutique embodies the chef's philosophy where art meets design and design meets art, creating confectionery that transcends traditional dessert categories to become visually stunning creations that inspire wonder before the first bite.
The Paragon location showcases Janice Wong's diverse range of creations, from artisanal chocolates and truffles to elaborate cakes that blur the line between dessert and art installation. Each piece can be customized to specific themes, transforming chocolate into a canvas for creative expression that serves as both edible indulgence and visual spectacle. The brand's Crystal Flake Gateau Cake exemplifies this approach—mesmerizing layered compositions featuring vanilla rum mousse, salted caramel sauce, and rum chestnut crèmeux.
As a multi-product and multi-channel confectionery brand headquartered in Singapore, Janice Wong has expanded beyond physical retail to offer delivery services that bring these exceptional creations to customers across the island. The brand's Instagram presence (@janicewongsg) provides ongoing inspiration with images of new creations that demonstrate how chocolate, truffles, pralines, and bonbons can become art forms in their own right.
For those seeking desserts that make statements—whether as gifts, celebration centerpieces, or personal indulgences—Janice Wong at Paragon offers the combination of technical pastry excellence and artistic vision that has earned the brand international acclaim and a devoted following among dessert enthusiasts who appreciate sweet creations as edible art.

Pre-ordered 3 bottle of Janice Wong Double Chocolate Sea Salt Cookies for collection at Paragon outlet. Collection process was seamless. Staff were friendly and promptly handed over the order after a quick verification. Giving 1 star for the service. The cookies deserve 0 stars.
The double chocolate sea salt cookies are overated. The taste is overly salty. Would not recommend. At $28 for 28 cookies, definitely not worth the price.

Disappointing! Won’t be back!
I wanted to get 3 chocolates but they say they don’t sell in box of 3 so i increase to 5 then they say ok. 1 bonbon $3.50 as seen in Pic 1 but upon payment, tell me $25 for 5 and saying it’s a special box. $25 can get me 7 bonbons so i ask why the markup they say the box is special and can be used for further purchases, get 5% off (saleswoman was not sure about this also). i DID NOT ask for any special box and felt that you decided to sell me a special box of 5 for an EXORBITANT pricing.
my complaints:
1) if don’t sell in individuals (or 3, or 4 or any odd numbers), why even list the per piece price of $3.50?
2) if you have special box, at least let me know before i order? because the pricing list of special box is at a tiny corner above the display right before payment (Pic 2 orange circle)
3) the math does not add up. (3.50x5= 17.5, you’re up charging me by 7.5 for an honestly lame and boring box, of which the $7.50 could be spent on 2 more bonbons) even other competitors like awfully chocolate, royce etc. have holiday packaging at NO cost so WHY ARE YOU CHARGING ME $7.50 for a BOX???? if it’s just a small markup i am fine. $7.50 is exorbitant pricing!!!
4) saleswoman was kind of rude, matching the other negative reviews.
used to patronise Janice Wong for holiday goodies, not anymore. BYE BYE.

The CNY assorted cookie tin is extremely bad. Cookies are all soggy and stale. At $69, you are better off buying cookies and chocolates from Fairprice.

utterly disappointing. tried the chocolate caramel pecan but it tasted so bad. cake layer was horribly bland, pecan layer had a strong weird iron taste, cocoa powder overpowered everything. worst dessert i've ever eaten. every single layer was awful. would never buy again and would not recommend.

Very disappointed with the advent calendar chocolate. There were many empty drawers e.g 14,16,17, and 20th drawer was not cut completely and cannot pull it out. Not recommended to anyone looking for advent calendar as this was not up to my expectations for the amount of money spent. Will not buy from this shop. Good thing I did not buy this as a gift.

Such unique cakes… expensive but unique. The chocolate cake was really good! The gula melaka cloud looking cake was pretty nice as well but my preference is chocolate and this shop is about chocolates so good job!
Good for special gifting and birthdays

Uniquely artistic delicious and delicate chocolate and desserts. So glad I found this and bought a customized selection as a special gift for a friend. Some previous reviews weren’t positive about the service but I found the 2 ladies were served me not only knowledgeable but very helpful and sincerely courteous, patient, and welcoming. Definitely coming again!

Strawberry lime cake - Nice rose syrup flavour yet not too sweet and balanced by fruity flavour.

Heading to Hong Kong this Christmas to celebrate with friends. Was looking for a Singapore made snack for them. A brand that’s not commonly found in Hong Kong. Wanted to avoid those usual SG brands that are available at That Little Shop HK.
Think these boxes of cookies will be a pleasant surprise!

Pandan gula melaka cake - 3.25 stars
Personally I'm not a fan of mousse cakes - I love a good thick chiffon or sponge. This wasn't too sweet. Each component tasted good. Now I just wish there was a cake comprising just the pistachio and mascarpone layers! Was puzzled that the box came with a large hole. Might need to transfer the cake into another container for longer term storage.
