Visited on 2 occassions on 5 and 6 Aug to try out their vara pumps sizing. On the first visit (5 Aug night), a young male staff attended to me. He was very pleasant and helpful. Was considering buying it until my friend remarked that the shoe cut was a little loose for my foot even though it was my usual size. I hope he gets recognition for his great service. 5/5 for him. As I live nearby, I decided to pop by the next day just to try it once more before I make a purchase decision. This time, a middle aged female staff served me. I informed her I would like to try the vara pump in size 4.5. She responded in an annoyed tone along the lines of "You came yesterday to try already, no? My colleague served you, I recalled." Gave her the benefit of doubt but it turned out to be a mistake. After she begrudgingly handed me the shoes to try, I enquired on whether the cutting was a C or D cut to better understand why it may be loose. After informing me that all Asia Pac stores only stock the D cut, she rudely cut in, "Are you intending to buy this online? You buy online may have issues because different weather may cause the shoes to expand/contract." Very uncalled for. Not sure how that was relevant to her sales. I went to fact check her statement that all Asia Pac stores only stock the D cut. Turns out, China stocks the B and C cuts as well. So I guess she either (A) does not have sufficient product knowledge or (B) just can't be bothered to do her job properly. Either way, incompetence. Her attitude was dismissive, rude and clearly impatient. There was also no other customers in store during that period and there were also 2 other staff around. Safe to say, I was put off by her rudeness. I decided to make my purchase online because why bother letting her earn a commission. People often say HK has poor customer service and SG is better. As someone who often shops in HK's Landmark, I can assure you this sales lady has a much worser service attitude than most of the service staff in HK. If you do patronise this store, please avoid this middle aged sales lady with short hair that is dyed reddish/maroonish brown. Find the young male staff instead. He provides way better service.
