DO NOT VISIT. Extremely narrow minded, did not let me into the class though I was a few minutes late. Super inflexible and inaccessible venue. Not worth the effort going all the way there. There are plenty of other way more accessible and flexible gyms around.

Been with elev8 for reformer since I was 3 months postpartum and the classes helped heal my diastasis recti (separation of abs from pregnancy) within a month. Most of the instructors plan the class well and the movements are not awkward or uncomfortable. They are also very attentive and would quickly adjust your form. The team behind elev8 is also very empathetic and helpful. Have been enjoying reformer with them for about a year now!

I arrived about 5 mins late for class, but was denied entry due to the 3 minute policy. I thought the studio was being very rigid, and unfriendly. Furthermore, I simply requested for them to mark me as attending the class because I didn’t want to get the cancellation penalty from CLASSPASS. They said yes to make me as attending. But 20 mins later, I’m notified that I “missed” the class…but I didn’t? I literally denied entry. I think the studio is managed in an overly strictly and unfriendly manner.

Disappointing Experience at ELEV8 I recently had a frustrating experience at ELEV8 that I feel compelled to share. I arrived for my class just one minute late, after the three-minute grace period had already passed. To my dismay, I was not allowed to enter the class, despite my eagerness to participate. I understand that punctuality is important in a fitness setting, but a strict policy that denies entry for being just one minute late feels excessive and unwelcoming. It’s disheartening to see a business prioritize rigid rules over customer satisfaction and understanding. As someone who values fitness and community, I expected a more accommodating approach. There are many ways to encourage punctuality without alienating members. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed in what could have been a positive workout session. I hope they can reconsider their policies to create a more inclusive environment for all members. Until then, I cannot recommend this fitness center based on my recent experience.

The instructor was great. The hand straps of the reformer smelled really bad - with strong perspiration smell. I felt really grossed out when we had to use it. The studio lighting was a dim, greenish hue which made the place really unwelcoming. The mall’s toilet was filthy, trash overflowing and out of the many cubicles only one or two was clean to use.

The studio is conveniently located along Orchard Road. The front desk is neat and simple, with shoes nicely stacked on a shelf, merch for purchases and there is always a staff available to greet me at check-in. It can be a little overwhelming at times when it is close to the class timing and everyone tries to check-in around the same time at the counter. It will be wise to be early according to the stated policy so as to respect other people’s effort in being punctual for a good workout. There are also lockers and simple amenities available to use their gender-neutral showers. The only downside is that no towel is provided but there is an option to rent towels from the studio to support their sustainability efforts. Have attended both their spin and reformer classes and by various instructors at different schedules. There is a variety of coaching styles, be it spin or reformer, but all the instructors are professional in their delivery and are quick to adapt/modify their style or methods to cater to the participants for that class. The spin studio is equipped with good sound and light system led by energetic instructors. Spin shoes and spin bikes are in good working condition. The pilates room provides a surprise element with mirrors all around the room including the ceiling to check our forms. It is also fitted with colourful lights which the instructor uses sometimes according to his/her program for the class. The equipment is new and during class, the instructors walk around to help correct the form and/or provide pointers to improve. So far, I had an awesome time after each spin or reformer workout with any instructor from this studio in the past three months.

Classes here are really great. Very experienced instructors. The spin studio lights are really nice! Lots of mirrors in reformer studio to help you constantly check your posture.

This new studio is very nice, I like the smaller setting of the spin room, the large mirrors, the good sound system that make for a nice experience. The instructors are all nice and welcoming, they know how to balance fitness and fun. I think it’s great that they have special classes for beginners also, spin cycling can be intimidating for newcomers.
