ELEV8 RideReformer operates at Taste Orchard, bringing specialized fitness training focused on reformer Pilates and potentially cycling or other elevated workout concepts to this lifestyle development. This boutique fitness studio combines elements suggested by its name - elevation representing improvement and progression, ride potentially indicating cycling components, and reformer referencing the specialized Pilates equipment. Reformer Pilates uses a sliding platform with springs, ropes, and pulleys to create resistance-based workouts that build strength, improve flexibility, and develop core stability through controlled movements. Boutique fitness studios have proliferated in Singapore as fitness enthusiasts seek specialized training beyond traditional gym environments, preferring expert instruction in particular modalities, community atmosphere with regular participants, and premium experiences justifying higher per-session costs than standard gym memberships. ELEV8 RideReformer likely offers class packages where participants reserve spots for instructor-led group sessions, creating accountability and social connections that support fitness consistency. The Taste Orchard location in redeveloped Orchard Point benefits from the development's positioning as lifestyle destination for health-conscious consumers, with surrounding healthy dining options, wellness services, and retail creating synergistic environment. The studio serves working professionals seeking convenient Orchard area fitness options near offices, residents in surrounding areas, and health-conscious consumers who view boutique fitness as worthwhile investment in physical and mental wellness.

DO NOT VISIT. Extremely narrow minded, did not let me into the class though I was a few minutes late. Super inflexible and inaccessible venue. Not worth the effort going all the way there. There are plenty of other way more accessible and flexible gyms around.

I arrived about 5 mins late for class, but was denied entry due to the 3 minute policy. I thought the studio was being very rigid, and unfriendly.
Furthermore, I simply requested for them to mark me as attending the class because I didn’t want to get the cancellation penalty from CLASSPASS. They said yes to make me as attending. But 20 mins later, I’m notified that I “missed” the class…but I didn’t? I literally denied entry.
I think the studio is managed in an overly strictly and unfriendly manner.

Disappointing Experience at ELEV8
I recently had a frustrating experience at ELEV8 that I feel compelled to share. I arrived for my class just one minute late, after the three-minute grace period had already passed. To my dismay, I was not allowed to enter the class, despite my eagerness to participate.
I understand that punctuality is important in a fitness setting, but a strict policy that denies entry for being just one minute late feels excessive and unwelcoming. It’s disheartening to see a business prioritize rigid rules over customer satisfaction and understanding.
As someone who values fitness and community, I expected a more accommodating approach. There are many ways to encourage punctuality without alienating members. Unfortunately, this experience has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed in what could have been a positive workout session.
I hope they can reconsider their policies to create a more inclusive environment for all members. Until then, I cannot recommend this fitness center based on my recent experience.

The instructor was great. The hand straps of the reformer smelled really bad - with strong perspiration smell. I felt really grossed out when we had to use it. The studio lighting was a dim, greenish hue which made the place really unwelcoming. The mall’s toilet was filthy, trash overflowing and out of the many cubicles only one or two was clean to use.

Book at your own risk. Studio is extremely strict and unforgiving with their “grace period” which is only 3min long, compared to other studios with a usual grace period of at least 5min.
My friend and I arrived (slightly late as we were being held up in traffic due to rain) at 12.34pm — only 1min behind time and the counter girl Enya was super inflexible about it. She refused to let us in although the class had not started at that point as our other friend who was already in the class was still texting us to hurry the class is starting soon.
She then spent the next 10-15min trying to “get help from a colleague” when we actually asked to speak with the manager since she was unable to make decisions. By then, of course the class had already started and they said it was too late.
The whole issue could have been avoided. I find it extremely distasteful for a business to operate in such a rigid manner. (I would have accepted if the class had already started, but she did not even bother to check and just wasted our time further at the counter).
We later learned that this is a common occurrence. As admitted by her colleague Harry, and other reviewers who experienced almost the same thing.
I actually want to give zero stars but I am forced to give 1 if not I cannot post lol.

Been with elev8 for reformer since I was 3 months postpartum and the classes helped heal my diastasis recti (separation of abs from pregnancy) within a month.
Most of the instructors plan the class well and the movements are not awkward or uncomfortable. They are also very attentive and would quickly adjust your form.
The team behind elev8 is also very empathetic and helpful. Have been enjoying reformer with them for about a year now!

The studio is conveniently located along Orchard Road. The front desk is neat and simple, with shoes nicely stacked on a shelf, merch for purchases and there is always a staff available to greet me at check-in. It can be a little overwhelming at times when it is close to the class timing and everyone tries to check-in around the same time at the counter. It will be wise to be early according to the stated policy so as to respect other people’s effort in being punctual for a good workout. There are also lockers and simple amenities available to use their gender-neutral showers. The only downside is that no towel is provided but there is an option to rent towels from the studio to support their sustainability efforts. Have attended both their spin and reformer classes and by various instructors at different schedules. There is a variety of coaching styles, be it spin or reformer, but all the instructors are professional in their delivery and are quick to adapt/modify their style or methods to cater to the participants for that class. The spin studio is equipped with good sound and light system led by energetic instructors. Spin shoes and spin bikes are in good working condition. The pilates room provides a surprise element with mirrors all around the room including the ceiling to check our forms. It is also fitted with colourful lights which the instructor uses sometimes according to his/her program for the class. The equipment is new and during class, the instructors walk around to help correct the form and/or provide pointers to improve. So far, I had an awesome time after each spin or reformer workout with any instructor from this studio in the past three months.

Classes here are really great. Very experienced instructors. The spin studio lights are really nice! Lots of mirrors in reformer studio to help you constantly check your posture.
