So good! This place always has excellent food that is always consistent over the many years that we have visited here. Service is fast, friendly and very efficient. It is a casual restaurant that is perfect for bringing friends or family. It’s a nice way to spend some time as well if you are needing a break from shopping at Takashimaya.

This was our very first time lunch at Crystal Jade and it couldn’t have been better. The food was amazing — every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully prepared. What really stood out, though, was the service. Jenny was exceptional, making us feel truly welcome and comfortable throughout the entire meal. Her attention to detail, friendliness, and genuine care elevated our dining experience to another level. We left not only satisfied with the food, but also deeply impressed by the hospitality. Definitely looking forward to returning!

Visited Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen for lunch. Tried a few types of dim sum — all were delicious and full of flavor. The food was served quickly, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant dining experience.

3.5/5 Been eating at this restaurant for many many years and at least 30 plus times over the decades. They used to be at the area near the Taka exhibition hall but they moved inwards some years ago. Usually they have a certain standard when it comes to their food and dishes but when I had my meal during one of the days during CNY, it was rather average tasting. On one occasion when they had a Boston lobster promo, they served us lobster than was stale and fishy and that shouldn’t have happened for such a large restaurant chain. Dishes that I enjoy would be their shrimp roe noodles with prawn paste, steamed fish, roasted chicken, eefu noodles and dim sum. I seriously hope they have a more consistent standard across my visits.

Dim sum dishes are hit and misses, cooked main dishes are much better. Please bear in mind this is Crystal Jade Kitchen, do not compare it to Crystal Jade Palace. Had many dishes, like superior thick seafood soup (rish broth), fried hor fun with grouper (underwhelmed), har kow (just alright), preserved radish tofu (good), crispy pork and roast duck (not the best but better than many), jellyfish black fungus appetiser (skip if possible), plus many more😅 good place to enjoy lunch or tea with friends. Service was slightly overwhelming as staff kept asking to be rated favourably on google.

Spend lunch here with family, the service was slower than other branches, with BBQ pork Chee Cheong Fan coming after 40minutes. Ordered at 12.26, but came only at 1.05pm. Food-wise, the Chee Cheong Fan came with skin very thick an BBQ Pork inside bare (see picture attached). Location-wise, restaurant is at a good place hence lots of customers. But if there are other choices available at the same level, will definitely give this restaurant a miss.

❤️ Food sharing IG @ jkgourmets 😋 美食分享尽在 IG @ jkgourmets Crystal Jade HK Kitchen was one of my preferred selection for Hong Kong cuisines. Orchard Takashimaya branch have been there for decades, renovated recently, and the tourist and local crowds have coming back and glad that their service was much efficient and quick turnover. We ordered their few Cantonese signature cuisines and some with new inventions. Dishes like Peking sweet and sour pork chop with Lychee, it was a lovely newly creation, combination of fruit and meat protein. Well balanced of sweetness and savory. $16.80/plate. Price at high side but with such great portion. Still worth a try. Traditional Yangzhou fried rice was really authentic with great ingredients, it's fragrance and flavourful. Portion was way enough for two. $15.80 per plate. Really satisfying! Lastly, a simple stir fry Kai-lan vegetables was in great presentation and with great flavours. Slightly expensive. $15.80/plate. Overall service standard is high and efficient. Very recommended to all especially for those Hongkong cuisines lover.

The flavors changed drastically over the years and sadly for the worse. Maybe I did not order the right dishes? What’s okay - Dan Dan Noodles were decent. Love that they have a small portion as it allows solo diners to try more dishes! - Egg tarts have a soft, fluffy crust and tender custard. Solid option. What could have been better - 红油抄手 used to be my favorite dish, but the wonton does not taste good, and the sauce lacks vinegar. Service was swift and friendly.

Enjoyed the dim sum here especially the salted egg custard lava buns. This casual branch is open all day. The Crystal Jade Palace on 4th floor opens for dinner at 6pm.

Please dont order the caipo tofu, wanted to try cause it looked good in menu photo. But it was bland tasting and tofu wasn’t soft… look at the tofu drowning. Gave feedback to the staff at the cashier when paying but she didn’t bother taking my feedback into consideration and just tell me i can let them know earlier next time… I just wanted her to let the kitchen know to improve. Also waited 40mins for our hot and sour soup, tofu and vege to be served despite the restaurant being quite empty….
