I've had the distinct pleasure of shopping at Cotton On Somerset for quite some time now (as a committed Perks member), and while the experience has always been reliably top notch, I hafta say that familiar faces Vicky and Shaz who helm the store really upped the bar even further with their beyond impressive customer mgmt skills during a recent visit on 13 Dec, which really made my day. Mad props to both of them was verbalised in person, and I'm following up with putting this on record - and rightfully so - because role model MVPs who understand the assignment and keep crushing it should never be kept a secret.
My original intent was to ask for a refund (which would've been akin to a "loss" for the store). However, Vicky was extremely intuitive and enterprising by tuning in to the nuances of my needs as a customer, and in so doing she successfully seized the opportunity to turn a profit instead by very skilfully convincing me to opt for the alternative of an in-store exchange. I ended up topping up the difference (for a truckload of items I would've otherwise delayed getting indefinitely) - and very happily so - because the deal she offered was too good to resist. Hence, you could say that both the store and the customer ended up in the very sweet spot of a win-win outcome, all thanks to Vicky's superb customer service acumen that not only exceeded my expectations but also left an indelible impression. Her sensing of what customers really want is on point, which enables her to deliver optimally.
Shaz, likewise, is a rockstar in my eyes as she's able to effortlessly blend the perfect mix of personable and professional in her rapport with both customers and colleagues (yes I've been paying attention and it's high time she got the credit she richly deserves). It really makes a difference when you're very naturally made to feel special as a customer, and Shaz's frontline expertise goes a long way towards enhancing the entire in-store experience - it's also a key reason I keep returning to check in on new deals, new drops and new dope interactions. Big shout-out to Shaz for going outta the way to make sure I landed similarly sweet promos at Typo Somerset for the X'mas presents I was planning to get for my loved ones. E-commerce is all well and good but absolutely nothing compares to the sublime in-store customer care that Shaz doles out like it's second nature.
I think it should be plainly evident to the powers-that-be how much of an asset these two superstar staff in particular are to the brand's operations and image. They're so on the ball and so damn good at what they do that it clearly goes beyond mere skill to reveal a deeper talent for outperforming by consistently providing genuine and tangible customer service. As far as I'm concerned, Cotton On Somerset and Cotton On as a whole lucked out with both Vicky and Shaz, and Imma keep coming back for the incredible attentiveness and unrivalled finesse that these two frontline forces to be reckoned with keep dishing out.

I had a confusing experience return from an online purchase this time I realised my return I had to return for pickup instead of return at the store it’s so confusing.
The policy seems to change you can’t return online purchase at the store.
Only return & exchange clothes at the store now I had to end up paying double the price of Grabpay and to wait for the reply email 2 working business day.
So be really careful when returning online clothed at the store beside now they have an apps the cotton on apps Return an item clicks doesn’t work it’s freezed.
Their Hotline CS is Philippines foreign overseas so will need to communicate slowly and clearly with lots of patience another bigger headache 🤕 either email 📧

Great service from Shaz, who patiently helped me with my online exchange even though it was quite busy. She was friendly throughout and even checked stock at other outlets for me. Really appreciated it!

I had a very poor experience with the cashier Jannah. She asked for my membership but proceeded with the payment without informing me I had vouchers available to redeem — I know they can see this. When I realized right after and went back to the counter, she made faces at me as if it were my actions that caused the inconvenience. Very unprofessional attitude and disappointing service.

Visited the store on 9/9 at 10 AM. I was looking for a size XS top that wasn’t on the rack, and Eyli kindly offered to check the stock room for me. I really appreciate her thoughtfulness and help.
Thank you, Eyli, for making my visit a pleasant one!

This cotton on is located in 313 Somerset and is spread over 2 floors. At one glance from the exterior of the building you will think that it looks rather small, but the shop is located at basement 1 too and connected by an internal staircase.
The shop layout is your usual cotton layout, and I was able to locate the items I needed easily. The staff’s service is very exemplary too, as she was able to advise me on the exchange policy and also on where are the other branches located close by.
The cashiers are very friendly and they were helpful too. However the nets machine was abit slow and I had to wait for a while in order to get my transaction through as 2 nets machine shared the same telephone line.
All in all, I would revisit this cotton on branch for my clothing needs.

I was attended by a rude cashier by the name of Jannah.I have membership and hence asked if my points would be keyed in since she did not ask for my email. She was not listening and continued collecting payment for my merchandise. After payment, I asked her again about my membership points. She then replied its too late, I did not tell her I am.a member , hence did not key in my points! Instead of apologising, she behaved as if i am the one at fault! Cotton On should send this staff for customer service training. I left in order not to hold back queue. Please arrange training for this kind of staff, rude and irresponsible.

Great place to shop clothes. Quick fashion, lots of variety and I recommend this because it’s one of the bigger outlets that they have. Also, quite nice pieces available and friendly staff.
