Packaging was thoughtful and well made.
Service staff was polite and friendly.
Store was neat and welcoming.
Chicken pie was good savoury, crust was crispy and nice when rebaked, the amount of pepper in the shepherd’s pie was a little too overpowering for me.
The portions for both pies were good for their prices, a personal pie per person can be sufficient as a meal and will be completed if a salad and a drink is added on.

The staff were friendly and welcoming! I bought two whole pies: one shepherd’s pie filled with chicken bites and mashed potato, and the other their original pie with a buttery crust and signature mixed filling both delicious and satisfying.

Almost closing time but I managed to bag a personal chicken shepherd pie. Quite good in flavour with chunks of peppery chicken. Taste is still as distinct as the gold old days. Would have loved the beef pie but sold out. Great that there's an outlet at AMK..my nearest destination if I crave more pies.
Polite girl serving the counter.
$6.80 is ok for the flavourful pie!

Chanced upon this newly opened place and decided to pop by to try. I am aware they have a main restaurant selling pies and local food in the Jalan Bersah area!
Bought the Shepherds Pie (personal) to try for $6.80. Packaging was very on pointe and the spork given was in very good quality too.
Portion size was a little small, and the ratio of filling to mashed potato was about 1:1. The fillings were minced meat with some mushroom, peas & carrots. I was surprised it's rather tangy, and if I'm not wrong, I tasted mustard seed grains in it, which could be the reasons for the vingerish flavours. It cuts the grease of the meat pretty well. The whole dish is rather dry as well. Good to try, but I probably would not buy again for the price and filling to the carb ratio. I rate: 3/5 🌟
I would wanna try their signature Chickem pies next time though.

Shepherd's pie - 4.25 stars
Comforting and filling - perfect midday savoury snack! Bit too much black pepper.
Apple pie - 4.25 stars
Loved the filling and pie crust, though it tasted a bit too much liked margarine/shortening. Would love it with butter instead.

Bought 2 chicken pie 🥧 here. It was good though. I like it. Price was a little bit expensive but reasonable at this area. Chicken pie contains chicken, potato, mushroom, and egg.
Don't accept cash except exact amount. I paid with card though.
May come again to try other things they have.

Finally had a chance to try this chicken pie. Heard much about how good this pie is but didn't had a chance than because of where the main branch is situated (Tyrwhitt road). The pie is freshly baked daily according to the lady serving us. This pie is loaded with lots of chicken pieces and eggs which is our favourite and most importantly there are no peas in it. There are 2 pie sizes, small and big. The smaller size is good for 1 person, bigger size is good for the whole family. Price is reasonable. They have lapis cake too. If you happen to be around Tangs Orchard do give it a try and support local businesses.

Has always been a fan of their chicken pie. Now that they have a new outlet here at Tangs Plaza it’s more convenient to access yummy food! I love their flaky pie crust which compliments their well seasoned chicken pie filling. Hearty as always.

This is probably the best chicken pie in Singapore. While it is a tad expensive, the generous amount of fillings make it worth it. One pie is enough for a full meal. It’s stuffed with lots of fresh chicken cubes, half a boiled egg, corn, mushrooms and potatoes. The crust is dense. Cons- crust could be improved and be more buttery/flakier for more oomph; pie could be less peppery to appeal to kids. I’m glad they launched the beef pie recently but haven’t tried it yet due to the price (double of the chicken one). Have repurchased the pie multiple times and the service at the orchard location is very good too. Hope they can launch more outlets in the heartlands apart from Ang Mo Kio.
Edited:
Just went back to try the beef pie and it was slightly disappointing for the price paid. Was expecting higher quality beef (shredded or cubes) for the pie since it cost so much at $13++ but it only had minced beef, mixed with a bit of corn and tomato. There was a generous amount of beef but just felt too one-note in flavour, wasn’t very satisfying and quite salty too. Will come back to purchase the chicken pies, but the beef one isn’t my cup of tea.

Contrary to the shop’s name, no crabs are sold at this outlet. Chicken pie was too dry for my liking, less potatoes, more of other veg and meat would make it better.
