His attention to detail and professionalism made the whole shopping experience a real pleasure. Truly one of the best service experiences I’ve had at Chanel! I had a really disappointing experience at the Chanel Takashimaya boutique.
I purchased my bag from the Palm Beach boutique in May, and within weeks the stitching came loose. Later a small pen mark seems to have gotten on the bag. When I brought it to the Chicago Chanel boutique, the staff were wonderful — they treated the mark, got most of it off, and offered to send it to the Chanel spa for full repair. Since I’m based in Singapore, they assured me I could have it done there instead. Love the Chicago staff!
When I went to Takashimaya, however, the experience was the complete opposite. The staff (Kori Mak and Wendy) were dismissive, said there was “no spa available,” and said only the stitching could be fixed — even when I said the Chicago team confirmed it could be done and had tried. They also questioned my residency status, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional.
I expected a consistent level of service from Chanel worldwide, but Singapore’s boutique fell far short. It left me questioning how much Chanel here actually stands behind its products and I would never purchase anything from a store in Singapore that doesn’t have a bag repair service available.

Went to Chanel counter in Takashimaya Shopping Centre on 30 July 2025 and was attended by the pleasant Ms Camilia Tan. I had a great experience thanks to her. She’s a professional, friendly and most importantly attentive to my needs. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel welcome and took time to understand exactly what I was looking for. Her product knowledge is impressive and she provided a clear, honest answers to all my questions without being pushy.
What stood out the most was her patience and willingness to go extra mile to ensure I was comfortable with my options. I left feeling happy. It’s rare nowadays to come across such excellent customer service, and I truly appreciate the support I received.

I really liked the manager Calvin Yeow, he is very correct, very kind and created a holiday for me. 🫶 I asked for a brochure and everything was quickly organized for me. Bad experience on 13 Oct 12:46pm. Was looking at lipsticks and a female assistant with a low pony tail attended to me. She was very rude and keeps frowning and shows attitude even though i bought the product in the end. She threw my lipstick on the countertop when writing the receipt and doesnt want to give me the bag to go with the lipstick. Please give your staff proper training as I felt very unwelcomed there and will never be back to the outlet again.

First time shopping at the store. There was no queue. Sales associate was friendly. They asked about my preference, explained in detail and patiently assisted me throughout. I would say this is expected from any high end store, considering how much we are paying.
Overall, I enjoyed the experience.
