Our craving for oden led us to try Apollon's version, which featured a savoury chicken broth instead of the traditional light soy flavoured dashi broth. We chose the set of 6, including daikon, chikuwa, chicken meat ball, gyutan, fishcake and sausage, and supplemented it with 'money bag' (fried tofu skin stuffed with mochi) and oysters accompanied with fresh seaweed.
The tuna roll was quite good, but I would recommend skipping the uni topping. Unfortunately, I failed to carefully read the description and was surprised to find that it was stuffed with an egg yolk, which made it overly rich when paired with uni.
In order to feel less guilty, I decided to order the deep-fried burdock, taking into account its multiple health benefits. It is worth noting, letying it sit too long will render it somewhat chewy, so better to eat it while it's hot.

Hole in a wall izakaya spot with very few seats. Food was fresh and prepared on the spot once you order, it’s a small space so you literally sit by the counter and order directly. Simple but yet very flavorful and comforting - drinks were affordable too. Would highly recommend if you’re in the area, looking for some comfort snacks and night cap to wind down for the night.

In my humble opinion, an over rated Japanese restaurant. Food were decent but the shushi roll was not good - seaweed was soggy , though with a good selection of crafted / drafted sakes. Perhaps there are many better options available in Singapore, making it being rated by me as such.
Reservation can only be made online as the restaurant has no phone line. It doesn't appeal to me to be back again.

The atmosphere at this restaurant was fantastic, with a really lively and trendy feel. The food was excellent, and I especially enjoyed the oden and crab croquettes.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.
