The unagi is beautifully coated in sauce that's both sweet and smoky. The fish itself is incredibly tender, and the addition of citrus flake brings a bright, refreshing contrast to the richness of the dish. Presentation is thoughtful and appealing. The iced roasted tea is also notably fragrant and complements the meal well. However, the dining experience was slightly hindered by the small table size — items felt precariously balanced, and it was difficult to reach across without risking a spill. The atmosphere was also quite loud, which made conversation challenging at times.

We managed to get seats for Sunday lunch without a reservation. Both of us ordered the Ippon Una-Ju Set — a generous piece of unagi served over rice. I like to sprinkle some sansho to bring out the flavour. Avoid adding extra unagi sauce, as it can make the dish overly salty. Judging by the steady stream of customers, this seems to be one of the go-to spots if you’re craving good unagi.

Excellent unagi, they provide the unagi sauce in a condiment bottle in case you'd like more. Ambience is relaxing with top tier service, staff and floor manager are polite and knowledgeable.

Had dinner at FI Woodfire Thai and really liked it. The moo ping was smoky, juicy and nicely charred. The watermelon with fish floss was light and refreshing, something different but really good. Space was cosy and modern, and the staff were friendly. Worth a visit if you’re into Thai food with a twist.

Authentic Thai food with a modern twist. The smoky aroma from the morning glory made this simple dish one of the most memorable! We love the open kitchen with a lot of action going on. The service crew were very friendly and helpful. We were a party of 7, we all enjoyed the meal very much.

This place really lets the ingredients shine, with minimal seasoning that keeps the flavors clean yet satisfying. I absolutely loved it here – the woodfire grill dishes in particular were beautifully done and so delicious, and the salads were also amazing. Definitely planning to return, and it’s a spot I’d happily recommend to friends.

Very very very enjoyable dinner experience at Fi Woodfire Thai at Shaw Centre. A few months ago, I've tried and was very impressed with their outlet at Robertson Quay (they have now shifted here). Consistently delivering good food! Must must must order the signature moo ping pork rib and french poulet. The grilled green mango salad is also very refreshing. I enjoyed all the cocktails and the price is crazy value for money at just $12! I cant wait to be back with my family again!

Service was quick. Nice ambience. Flavors were authentic, refined. Favorite dish was the moo ping, with smoky flavour, meat still tender. Pineapple rice portion was small though. Watermelon with floss was interesting. Prawn cakes, clear tom yam soup well executed. Charred corn salad was average and did not really leave an impression. Overall, small portion, and hence pricey, however was expected for this location.

What an enjoyable meal! One of the best Thai restaurants. In here, you can differentiate the layers of flavors in each of the dishes served. Unlike many Thai restaurants where there is only a single dominating taste profile, either fish or oyster sauce in the dishes. Will certainly order the Moo Ping ribs and Roasted Duck green curry again. Pricing is higher than others, but you won't feel short-changed!

Thai food served with a dash of elegance. Nestled away in a corner of Shaw Centre, this spot has quite some rave reviews and getting seats even on a week night is tough without reservations. I went for my birthday dinner and quite impressed. The menu is short and sweet. For starters, we ordered a prawn cake and corn tom sum salad with mild spice. The cakes were nicely dont with plump prawns and shallow fried to perfection while the salad had a nice dressing and wasn't too spicy either. For mains we ordered an Otah and chicken pad thai to share. Both dishes did their bit and looked good too. For dessert, we had to order the mango sticky rice and chestnut pudding. The mango rice was good but the chestnuts tasted bland. The saviour in the chestnut dessert was the delicious ice cream. Service is prompt and courteous though I did ask for a special seat due to the occasion, but no such gestures offered. Nevertheless, definitely worth a try!
