I've been with Kimistry Hair Boutique since 2019 and my stylist, Stephy, has been doing my hair since 2021 and she’s absolutely incredible. I have frizzy, coarse hair, and she really understands how to manage it (never over-layering and always suggesting styles that work with my texture). What really sets her apart is her effort to understand you. Your lifestyle, your habits, and even your personal style. She can literally tell what kind of vibe you're going for just by how you dress and she’ll tailor your hairstyle accordingly so that everything feels cohesive and ‘you’. She’s also great at giving practical tips. She walks me through how to replicate the salon styling at home, so I always leave feeling confident and empowered to manage my own hair. A special mention to Amanda, the hair technician. Her hair washes and scalp massages are next-level relaxing. Her massages send me to heaven each time. The whole Kimistry team is incredibly attentive. For example, if I'm working on my laptop during an appointment, they’ll automatically offer a lap cushion to make it more comfortable. Its little gestures like that make a big difference for me. At the end of the day, I believe anyone can cut hair, but not everyone can combine current trends with what actually suits your face shape, lifestyle, and personal aesthetic. Stephy gets it. She delivers consistently and understands style on a deeper level. Highly recommend booking with Stephy! Be it long or short hair, light brown or dark blue hair, I trust her entirely!

It was my first visit to Kimistry and Summer completely won me over! She’s patient, warm, and explains everything clearly with zero hard sell. She recommended the right colour for my skin tone and, knowing I’m a busy mum, suggested a softening treatment to keep my hair manageable for longer. My frizzy hair came out unbelievably smooth and shiny. Been going to Stephy at Kimistry for the past few years and absolutely love and trust her with my hair!! Approachable, friendly and knowledgeable, she is able to recommend the best cuts for me while listening to my needs ensuring that it’s very low maintenance such that it’s no hassle to get my hair looking great daily without additional products or styling needed. She also goes the extra mile to teach how to achieve style from just blow drying such that I can replicate it daily. I’ve known Jimmy for nearly 15 years and have been getting my haircuts from him since my first job. Initially, I thought it would just be a one-time cut because I needed a quick trim for an event and couldn’t return to my hometown hairstylist. Update: went back to Mico to refresh my hair colour and got a haircut! my perm is still intact even after 10+ months and I really love the outcome :) Please look for her to get beautiful curls and colours ! Did my perm previously with stylist Mico and it lasted more than 5 months and still looks great! went back to her to do my highlights and I love it!! she’s very friendly and professional :) definitely will come back to her for future hair appointment!
