Also tried the refreshing mango salad and crispy prawn cake, which goes so well with their sweet chilli dip. Don’t miss the Thai chendol too — it’s huge and loaded with toppings like tapioca, jackfruit and red beans For more food reviews, follow me on IG: @dtfoodaffair :)

We’ve been to this restaurant before, but last time, we weren’t too satisfied with the food. It’s supposed to be a Thai restaurant, but the flavors felt quite far from authentic Thai cuisine. Yesterday, we decided to give it another try, and I now feel that if we view it as a fusion restaurant instead of a traditional Thai place, the food is actually quite good. This might also explain why it attracts so many Western diners. I tried their new dish, Green Laksa Prawn Noodles, and the soup was flavorful and creamy—definitely impressive. However, the big prawn inside didn’t add much uniqueness to the dish. I felt that even if we replaced it with pork, beef, or fish, the taste of the soup wouldn’t change much. My wife had the dry version of their signature beef noodles, and it was absolutely amazing. The ingredients were fresh, the beef was well-marinated and perfectly cooked, and the rice noodles had a great texture. The prawn omelet was also really good, generously packed with prawn meat and other ingredients, making it delicious and satisfying. Overall, while it may not be authentic Thai food, it’s still a solid spot for fusion flavors.

First time to dine. Convemiently located at the entrance of Palais Renaissance. The ambience is nice. Service was good. The serving time was fast one weekend dinner. Food taste could be better for its price. Their recommended beef soup was good, tasty, and has big serving but has lots of fats. Pad thai and pineapple fried rice has nothing special. Taste wise, it was a little bland to my liking. Fancy plating, though. The serving size was a little small for both. Could be shared by small eaters. It could be better if their was an option to change the meat into chicken as some people are allergic to seafood. Thai milk tea was good. Not too sweet. Not much meat choices. A little pricey in general after all the service charge and taxes. But overall, it's still OK, considering its location.

Great service & lovely ambiance. We ate the Signature Sliced Beef, Beef Meat ball, beef Tripe & beef Tendon silky noodle in flavorful soup. Tangy & just the right heat Mango Salad. We Like this version of Crispy coated Thai Prawn Cake. Kai Lan & fresh Mushroom stir fry. If finer “shave” Thai Chendol dessert will be better. Happy belly! Recommend to try!

Tried their newly launched river prawn noodle and other signature items. 🍜 Creamy Tom Yum River Prawn Noodles – $19.80 Silky noodles in an appetizing, creamy, and milky broth, loaded with mushrooms and sliced fish cake and a succulent river prawn. Not too spicy for my spice tolerance and satisfying! But you can also customise your spice level when ordering or even skip the milk if you prefer it without. 🥩 Sliced Wagyu Beef Noodles – $18.80 One of the popular choice in their signature beef broth! Perfect for non-spicy eaters who loves tender beef slices. You can choose from silky noodles, egg noodles, or rice stick noodles. The broth is super gao and packed with flavor. 🍠 Fried Yam Roll – $7.80 Crispy on the outside with a naturally sweet and creamy yam filling, plus a thin strip of sweet potato inside. So good that I didn’t even need the sweet chili sauce! A must-order! 🥑🦐 Thai Avocado Prawn Salad – $10.80 The avocado pairs so well with the prawns, all tossed in a refreshing and appetizing dressing. 🥭🍚 Mango Sticky Rice – $9.80 Loved that the sticky rice was served warm and extra soft. The mango was very fresh too! 🥤 Drinks to Pair: • Iced Thai Milk Tea – $4.80 classic and refreshing! • Fresh Coconut – $7.80 perfect for cooling down after all those flavors! Definitely coming back for more!

Wow, the food was great but the service was even better! Big thanks to the Chinese speaking waiter who really went the extra mile. He was so enthusiastic and made sure we always had what we needed, from water refills to extra napkins when the spice got to us. He truly deserves a raise. We’ll definitely come back just for the service.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Siam Smith! The food was authentic, flavorful, and well-prepared – especially the beef noodle. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and friendly, making the meal even more enjoyable. A great spot for anyone craving quality Thai food in Singapore. Highly recommended!

Love the prawn pancakes . Salad is great, though I wish they would peel the shell off the tail of the shrimp, enjoyed the clay pot tanghoon too. Would have liked it with shrimp and not soft shell crab. Good price.

If you’re in town and craving for Thai food, can check this out! Love the avocado prawn salad and fried yam rolls. Signature beef soup was very flavourful and came with many slices of tender beef.
