Food-wise, I ordered the Puttanesca pasta, which should include anchovies. However, I couldn’t see them in the dish at all. If they were blended into the sauce, it wasn’t apparent. The dish ended up looking more like a vegan pasta. The saving grace was that the texture was al dente. I also tried to use a Tipo gift card during payment but was told it couldn’t be used at this outlet. There was no mention of this restriction in the gift card’s terms and conditions. The staff could only list other outlets (Aliwal, Waterloo and Novena) where it could be used, which made the policy feel unclear and poorly communicated. I later emailed to seek clarification but did not receive any response. Overall, if issues arise during your visit, it may be difficult to reach the team for follow-up or resolution.

pasta was so yummy and nice! friendly staff Amelia, Siti & Azfar attended to us and were always smiley! drinks wise just a small comment on the hot chocolate that it was not that hot and a little too milky. nevertheless the whole experience was great and will come back again :)

You can choose from 3 different type of noodles (they provide it the raw ones on the table before ordering via qr). Had rose duck with chili flakes & extra spinach. The smoked duck was so plump & tender, the rose sauce was creamy but light and tangy. The noodles are definitely al dente so every bite was perfect. Ice tea was a little too pricey imo ($7). Great service provided from Azfar & Amelia!

I had an amazing experience at Tipo Pasta Bar! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was cooked to perfection with so much flavour and freshness. Big compliments to Chef Hilman for the incredible pasta and attention to detail. The service was equally outstanding — Zak and Siti made the dining experience so warm and welcoming. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves great pasta and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon! 🍝✨

The server, Estelle, is very attentive. The food is great and wonderful. The manager, Zack, is good in great service too. Overall experience is wonderful! Will come again for great value and great food

we had the chicken pesto and chilli crab pasta. pretty worth it for the price! amelia, shauna and azfar were really polite and friendly! would maybe perhaps come back

What I would give to have more than 5 stars for the service staff! Such high praise is reserved only for those extra-special places. Dine among a jolly crowd of smiley waiters/waitresses who are perhaps the most pleasantly friendly company I've seen of a restaurant. Highly recommended to place on your bucket list for a quietly refreshing experience. Prices are absolutely considered reasonable for the area and even more worth it for the exceptional quality of the food. Perfect for pasta lovers, serving dishes cooked to perfection with a selection of 3 unique, seasoning-infused types showcasing interesting pasta variants not as commonly found in Singapore. I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, service and the atmosphere. A perfect little place for any occasion. All compliments to the staff at this outlet who made this dinner so unbeatably and thoroughly satisfying. It's an experience hard to put in words; when everyone is so collectively eager and warm, the atmosphere lifts into something spectacular. I implore all future patrons: please don't be mean to them and disrupt the peaceful joy this place maintains.

Great pasta overall. Love the Crab meat pasta the most. Also took interest in the chocolate chip cookie, which is a tad too sweet given the chocolate is already sweet enough but yummy regardless. Definitely worth returning

I have been to Tipo, but never left as disappointed as this visit. I was here on a Friday dinner, was directed to a window seat which was awesome. The disappointment was the menu. There were no sides available, all sold out. There were no salads too. No desserts. Nothing available for anything associated with salmon. All sold out. 2 out of 3 pasta choice were available. The third one was of course sold out. So it is quite pathetic to just have a pasta without anything else. It left me still hungry. I am not even here after the peak hours, I was there at 7pm before the restaurant was full afterwards. And the service was so slow even when there was not even a lot of different food for the kitchen to prepare.

Tried Tipo tiramisu that was recommended by staff Vik. One of the best versions I have tasted. Fluffy sponge fingers soaked in espresso, with mascarpone cheese mousse that was not cloying, topped with generous sprinkling of cocoa powder. Kudos to Chef Hillman ❤️
