I actually came here by accident. The viral Thai stall I was aiming for was completely packed, so I ended up wandering around and found another stall on the same floor that looked kind of similar. Didn’t have high expectations, but turns out it was a pretty solid find. The spicy tom yum with thick soup was the star of the meal. It was rich, tangy, and had a legit spicy kick — definitely not watered down for the Singaporean tongue. As an Indonesian, I really appreciated that. I ordered the half portion, and it was still enough for two people to share, especially if you’re getting other dishes too. So satisfying. The pad thai was decent. Nothing out of this world, but it had the right balance of sweet, salty, and nutty. A good option if you want something more neutral to pair with the spicier dishes. The deep-fried pork with garlic and pepper was another standout. It came with this peppery, paste-like sambal as a dipping sauce, and the pork itself was super flavorful and crispy. I was already full, but honestly wish I had room to order rice with it — it would’ve made the perfect combo. Overall, even though it wasn’t the famous spot I was aiming for, I’m glad I stumbled into this place. Sometimes the backup plan ends up being the better choice.

Late night Thai food cravings set in suddenly, and we decided to head to Orchard towers as they have a few Thai restaurant there, parking was a killer though as it is per entry basis, but no regrets on our choice of food for a late night super hangout. Everywhere was crowded at night there, but we managed to choose Thai Tantric and boy was our choice spot on. We ordered dry pork curry which comes with a velvety and addictive red curry, that goes soooo well with rice, every mouthful was so satisfying. We wanted Thai omelette to go with it and though we ordered wrongly, it ended up as a really good option too. First time trying omelette with a mince pork fillings in there, there was some crunch in every bite and goes really well with the curry. Basil thai mince pork rice (Pad Kra Pao) ended up a better option to go with other mains so that it is not too carb heavy with the right amount of rice to be shared out between 2 people. I have always love stir fry vermicelli since my uni days, and this one although a tad oily, it goes really well with the chili condiments that you can self serve at the restaurant. The wait for the food can be long, but it was worth the wait and honestly for late night supper, the whole point is to chit chat and have good food. This hits the spot.

Had sambal kangkong, omelette, green curry and tom yum fried rice. The green curry and tom yum fried rice is really good. Omelette too oily. Came on a Friday evening and the wait was pretty long. The food came out pipping hot which I love. The 4 star is due to the wait.

Amazing food by Thai chefs. Reasonable pricing with portions to share. Loved the taste and palatable. The Mama pork is a must try and the chilli dip to go with is authentic. Everything is great!

It’s good for Thai food lovers. The price is fair for Orchard area. Portion is a quite big enough for normal eaters. 4 dishes are enough for 5 people to eat. Service needs to be improved. Only 2 waitresses and they also work as cashiers. We had to be a bit patient 😅. Little bit long Q at dinner time. Most customers are locals. Highly recommend for Tom Yum soup and squid with corn. My rating for the green fried rice is 3/5.

We really like the dishes here. Our favourite is the raw prawns, fish steamed with lime juice, coconut milk soup, fish cake, olive fried rice, etc. For desserts, we ordered the mango sticky rice. The rice was served warm. And red rubies with Jack fruits. These are all good for sharing

The restaurant is hidden in a corner on the 3rd floor of Orchard Towers. The space is big enough to accommodate about 20 tables, and we didn’t need to queue for seats. You place your order and make payment at the counter before sitting down. The waiting time for food varies depending on how many tables ordered before you and how many dishes you choose, but overall, we didn’t wait long. They also try to serve all dishes together, which is appreciated. The tom yum thick soup is outstanding. The sourness and spiciness are perfectly balanced, making it very tasty and enjoyable without feeling too salty or too spicy. The olive fried rice is another amazing dish—simple but incredibly delicious, with a strong olive aroma and good wok hei that really boosts the appetite. The deep-fried pork belly and chicken wings are decent, and the sauces provided help enhance the flavours. The stir-fried kailan is fresh and nicely cooked. The steamed fish is excellent—my friend who normally doesn’t eat fish also found it tasty. The lime sauce gives it a refreshing, sour edge that removes any fishy smell. Their omelette is also great; the aroma of the eggs spreads across the whole table. It’s a little oily, but still very delicious. For dessert, we ordered mango sticky rice and red rubies. The fruits are very fresh, and both desserts help bring a refreshing finish after a heavy meal. We enjoyed our meal here, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

This Aroi Mak Mak food place is so hidden i thought I went to the wrong building. The food is so delicious that it did remind me of 🇹🇭 Thailand. Definitely worth making a trip down.

Tried their basil pork rice ($8) and Thai green tea ($2). The pork was tasty but it was too spicy for me (though I think I have a relatively low tolerance for spicy food) so I had to sieve out the chilli pieces and wash down the chilli with my tea. Would've preferred my egg to be more runny. The place doesn't look like it can seat many people (and the room is not like what you'd expect of any restaurant so it definitely lacks atmosphere. Overall a decent place but I took some time to find it (didn't realise it was hidden away in a corner behind the escalator).

Simple, straight forward, reasonably well Thai authenticity flavoured food. Service comes with a smile even though language is a barrier. Condiments are self service. Which is great cause extra crushed nuts on the mango salad as well as other dishes makes it so much better. Overall, a less frill place to eat, some down to earth, Thai food.
