Went for jadeite authentication. Gary was really professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly for sure! Enjoyed the talks we have about how the industry has changed, will be back for sure.

I came across this shop through an online search and decided to visit to check if my jade had been treated. Mr. Gary, the gemologist, was very patient and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the differences between natural and treated jade. The experience was pleasant, and the shop is conveniently located at Orchard Tower, just to the left of the entrance escalator on level two. Mr. Gary informed me that the testing would take about an hour and promised to notify me via WhatsApp once the certification was ready for pickup. The testing was quick, and the pricing was reasonable $60 (with cert) compared to other places. I highly recommend this shop! In addition, they have a beautiful selection of jade pendants. I also asked Mr. Gary about using UV light to test jade for treatments, and he explained that it’s not always reliable, as treated jade might not fluoresce, and natural jade can sometimes fluoresce if there’s wax on the surface. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

Excellent service:) Recently, I purchased jade pendant from Shanghai, and I had minor doubt if this is a natural jadeite. I am certainly glad to find Raffles GemLab in Singapore. Mr. Gary explained well the process and performed the necessary testing. I feel relieved and peace of mind when he confirms to me with scientific evidence certificate that mine as Type A natural jadeite. The shop has good collection of jades and other gems with reasonable price.

He provided me with the report for my jade testing and provided clear explanations on the results. items in his shop is having great sales 30-40% off depending on the products due to retirement sales! very pretty items there and do not need to worry on the quality of the items. appreciate all the help you have given me. Pleasant experience with Gary and his colleague, I had dropped by to get my wife's jade pendant assessed and from the experience, also gained a fair bit of knowledge as a layman to identify jade (jadeite) from both gentlemen.
