🤩 this place is such a gem! A little tight giving you similar feels to the izakaya bars in Tokyo so I suggest reserving in advance. The food here is really good. I recommend the uni pasta, salad and hamburg. All dishes were top notch! Chef and owner are Japanese, so they know what they are doing! Definitely coming back!

We came here for dinner on a Saturday and made reservations. It was our first time here, and we really enjoyed the vibes of this place! The lady boss was extremely friendly and such a sweet person to talk to, and the service crew was so quick and friendly as well. Kudos to the chef, as he is intensely serious and focused on his job, creating delicious food so quickly and yet so comforting. This feels like a really homey izakaya, and I heard from the lady boss that she's from Osaka. 🥹❤️🫶 ICHIIIKU SALAD Fig & Mozzarella & Parma Ham Salad I particularly enjoyed this salad as it was incredibly refreshing with a citrusy, sweet, yet tangy kind of dressing. It's loaded with cabbage, Parma ham, mozzarella, as well as many pieces of fig, which were perfectly ripe and mildly sweet. This salad was extremely delicious to have and it's great for sharing for two people. Apparently, this is a must-order item, and I agree! I rate: 5/5 ⭐️ 山芋そうめん - YAMAIMO SOMEN Japanese Mountain Yam with Special Sauce. This somen was very interesting because I was expecting noodles, but it ended up being yam that was shaved into a really thin, noodle-like texture. The whole thing was in a soya sauce meant for soba, with some wasabi, and when mixing it, it gives a slimy texture. I was mind-blown by how crunchy the yam is while also being slimy! It really makes a very good starting appetizer to wet your appetite. I drank the whole sauce as well, and the wasabi gives a nice kick to prevent it from being too cold. I rate: 4.5/5 ⭐️ Deep fried Camembert Cheese Oh, this was so interesting! The panko batter around the Camembert cheese was very much like tempura, having a really nice crunch yet being flaky and light at the same time. This dish is very essential to have while it's hot or warm because the cheese is so runny and gooey in the core. Apparently, dipping it with the blueberry sauce or the ketchup changes its flavor, and our favorite was the blueberry jam on the side. This was an incredible, savory yet sweet kind of side to go with. I rate: 4.5/5 ⭐️ 明太子バターパスタ - MENTAIKO Butter Pasta The portion size for this was quite good, and it uses angel hair pasta, which is very thin and allows the roe to cling to every strand. Though it's very simple, I would say this is an umami-inclined kind of pasta with onions and some shreds of nori on the top. The butter flavor was a little bit mild, and I would say that this is a very stable carb to go with. I rate: 4/5 ⭐️ Drinks & Conclusion For drinks, we ordered something light and mild. I ordered the Green Tea-Hi, and my friend ordered the Yuzu liquor, which we both felt were very easy to drink and not too heavy on the alcohol. We really enjoyed our visit here and definitely will be coming back here for the vibes and to try different dishes! ❤️

Small and cosy hole in the wall fusion izakaya. Food was great, with seasonal specials as well as a competent core menu. Service was exceptional and warm. A place to return to.

Had an amazing dinner here. It is run by the nicest Japanese couple. Love the cozy izakaya setting & all the food was impeccable, especially the uni pasta & wagyu roast beef. Service was great too. Will be back for sure

Stumbled upon this place by chance and I'm so glad I did! Food portions were generous and honestly worth their price! I absolutely loved their signature Uni angel hair pasta!! Having just recently come back from Japan, the setting of the place and the presence of Japanese patrons/staff made me feel like I was overseas again! ❤ The staff were incredibly friendly too!

We ordered the corn salad, chicken gyoza wings, crab croquette and two pastas: uni tomato and carbonara. We enjoyed the salad and pastas the most. The chicken wings were under seasoned in our opinion but overall still pleasant. The flavour of the crab croquette was creamy and blend well with their tomato sauce but it lacked crab meat and crab flavour. I think their pastas were much better. The uni tomato pasta was yummy and so was their carbonara. The service was very warm and friendly. We enjoyed our experience overall. We had a reservation.

A great hole In the wall Japanese izakaya bar. Run by husband and wife, who are so friendly and happy with the customers. Food was simple and tasty. The grilled hamburg was soft and tender and their 4 cheese pizza with honey was such a tasty treat.

I loved just about everything in this cosy Japanese restaurant. The service was very friendly (it’s pretty much like a family run bistro with a very homely vibe). The food itself is really good, listed what we ordered in the pics below. The pasta is done really well.
