Delicious food with extremely warm service. Reviewing this even though I did not get the free dessert because every dish was prepared to perfection. Run by an elderly Japanese man and his wife, good cosy spot. Must orders: Fried Barracuda, Hamachi Kama Nitsuke, Wagyu roast beef, hot Uni tomato cream pasta.

Been coming to this cosy izakaya bar since 2020 for their uni pasta. It’s perfectly al dente and with a generous amount of uni. We also really like the fried camembert. The prices are on the high side, given the portion sizes, though generally the food standard is good. Service is warm and there are always Japanese diners every time we visit. On our most recent visit, we were encouraged to give a 5-star review in exchange for complimentary desserts. The Azuki Daifuku and Genmai-Matcha Ice Cream are recommended (not to mention a great pairing). Their Whatsapp line also makes it easy to make reservations now.

My first time dining at Al Solito. Amazing food and friendly service. Menu includes seasonal dishes which are also fantastic. Must try Uni pasta,hamburg, simmered hamachi. Will be back to try other dishes.

i liked this way more than the other bistro in orchard plaza :/ four cheese pizza looks unassuming but was rly delicious hamburg was super jooooosy roast beef generous portion and tender!
