Anti-Ageless
❌❌❌Misleading Marketing, Poor Service This review serves as a warning to others considering Ageless. I feel compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience at Ageless, a stark contrast to the perfect 5-star rating that initially drew me in. 1. Initial Consultation and Treatment Decision: I first visited Ageless in Nov 2023, drawn by Dr. Lam's reputed expertise. During my consultation, I expressed interest in Thermage and Ultherapy for aging concerns, but Dr. Lam recommended fillers instead, suggesting Thermage/Ultherapy for later. Trusting her judgment, I proceeded with the fillers, which cost $6300+GST for three syringes—a price significantly above the market rate. Despite the high cost and no visible improvement, I trusted her expertise and purchased a credit program on the day. 2. Switching Doctors: By Dec 2024, ready to pursue the initially discussed treatments, I was informed of Dr. Lam's unavailability and was instead directed to another practitioner, Dr. Vera. The staff assured me that the treatment results would be identical regardless of the doctor since the same equipment was used. This rationale made me question why treatments performed by Dr. Lam were priced higher if the outcome would be the same. I later realized that Ageless uses Dr. Lam as a branding tool to attract new customers and allure them to sign on credit packages, only to redirect them to other less-experienced doctors while still charging exorbitant fees. 3. Experience with Dr. Vera: My consultation with Dr. Vera was appalling. After a lengthy wait in a cramped, unventilated room, she presented a sales-driven approach rather than focusing on my needs. She pushed Morpheus 8, the most expensive option available. It was also inconsistent with the advice from Dr. Lam which confused me. I suspect Dr. Vera was more interested in selling based on price rather than suitability, as I have been regularly doing treatments at another trustworthy clinic in Singapore, which also offers Morpheus 8 at a much lower price, yet did not recommend it due to its high cost, painful process, and minimal benefits for my skin condition. 4. Unexpected Consultation Fee: Adding insult to injury, I was charged a consultation fee despite being an existing customer with a prepaid credit package. They insisted on a separate payment for the consultation, citing it was mentioned in a WhatsApp message and claiming that the credit package could only be used for treatments. When I challenged this fee that it was not stated in the initial package agreement I signed, the staff coldly stated it was company policy—a policy they refused to disclose when I requested to see it. This illustrates the clinic’s opaque policies and tendency to impose hidden fees. I’ve put a screenshot of a conversation I had with another clinic who clearly stated that they do not charge consultation fees for existing customers, which is the industry standard in my experience. 5. Inconsistent and Extremely High Prices: The treatment prices at Ageless are inconsistent and generally much higher than market rates. For example, last time I checked, Morpheus 8 is 60% higher than another clinic I consulted, and Ultherapy is double the price. If treatments are performed by Dr. Lam, the price increases by an additional $1000+. As their staff member admitted, the results are identical, so why the higher fees? 6. Final Thoughts: The overall handling of my case by Ageless has been incredibly disheartening. The clinic operates with a short-term focus on financial gain rather than fostering long-term patient relationships. After expressing my dissatisfaction, no one from Ageless showed any initiative to resolve the issues; instead, they hid behind formal messages signed by "Ageless Management Team," never apologizing or showing genuine concern. It’s clear they spend more time defending themselves than addressing customer issues. I expect Ageless to defend themselves again after this review, as that’s apparently where they focus their efforts. Sad, but true.
