Really authentic place for clay pot soup! We got the black chicken soup and salted egg pork pie, both reasonably priced and tasty.

Not my first time here, and I'll definitely be coming back for more! I was very surprised that this new store is hidden inside this old buikding. It's such a great deal for very good double-boiled soup, averaging at a price of $6. 🥰 The ingredients were really robust, and you could tell that the chefs are super connoisseurs who make excellent soup with distinct properties. It might be even more helpful if they indicated the specific benefits of each soup to help me narrow down my choices 🤣 I also tried the yam rice, which I thought was just okay. The rice was too crumbly, and the whole mixture was too wet for my preference. I've stuck to white rice and their double-boiled soup since. The soup was truly good, and the add on meat patty was very thick and juicy. The soup itself was very rich and cooked long enough to draw out the natural flavours of the ingredients, softening the tendons and fat to create a gooey, umami collagen. The claypot that is used to hold the soup keeps the soup hot the entire eating duration too ☺️ Overall, this shop is such a good hidden gem that I'm torn between wanting to keep it a secret and also wanting them to have enough business to continue running. It's a very good double-boiled soup house, where the soup is cooled by traditional methods in a huge vat.

The soup itself might probably revive orchard tower. It’s the big, deep pot kind of brewing, I ordered ABC soup because a few others are all sold out, the pork cartilage was so soft it’s almost melting in my mouth. But you need to do your own research on what soup benefits your body, the service staff doesn’t know much. Environment is ok, like I said, the soup alone is worth it even if the place is not well maintained!
