Lucky enough to try this warabimochi when it was not very packed so I don’t have to queue to order. The seating area was very proper and spacious, I spent over 1 hour to eat and drink while chatting with my friends The mochi itself was transparant, textured like jelly, and chewy, covered by kinako/soybean powder. I think the mochi itself was already sweet but if you need more sweetness, they gave you kuromitsu syrup, which was like brown sugar syrup Such as good news that although they are not halal certified yet, but they claim that they do not use any of pork, lard, or alcohol in their products If you are in a hurry but want to try this warabimochi, I advise you to come to this orchard outlet at 11am until lunch time to avoid long queue

This is probably the best mochi in town. Their mochi was incredibly soft, sprinkled with generous amount of kinako soybean powder. Just need a little syrup is needed to make it a very satisfying dessert. They serve good matcha latte too, in their iconic cups with big logo. #foodphotography #foodhunter #foodie #foodreview #foodblog #foodblogger #foodreview #foodiegram #foodies #delicious #deliciousfood #goodfood #singaporefood #singaporedessert #japanesedessert #desserts #mochi #warabimochi #matchalatte #sgcafe

Finally got to try the famous Kamakura Warabi Mochi and it was absolutely delicious. The mochi is incredibly soft, fresh, and chewy, like pillowy bites that melt in your mouth. The roasted soy powder adds a nice toasty flavor, and while the kuromitsu syrup gives extra sweetness, we preferred it with just a little. Looking forward to trying their drinks and matcha warabi mochi next time. For more photos and details, check out @aya.yeaney (IG) https://www.instagram.com/p/DHD5bzXpWeR/?img_index=1

The boy who helped us put in our order for the mochi and for the hojicha was very polite, very respectful and he also took the time to actually make small talk with us while our drink was being made. Their service was quite all right and I highly recommend coming to Warabi mochi. It's also at takashimaya at orchard 😊! …

Very soft mochi with a melt in your mouth feeling. Very generous with the kinako powder as well. Strawberry milk was refreshing with chunks of strawberry and mochi pieces inside, better than bubble tea!

The gentleman was extremely helpful in explaining the different flavours. He had to prepare my 3 orders (like a one man show) whilst the two ladies were just standing around chit chatting.

The Japanese mochi has a very unique texture—chewy yet soft, making each bite an interesting experience. The strawberry yogurt filling is deliciously refreshing, with a nice balance of sweetness and tang. It's a delightful treat that stands out. However, the seating situation can be tricky as it's open-seated with other stalls, so it might be hard to find a spot, especially during busy times. Despite that, the mochi is definitely worth trying!

After passing the stall a few times today me and wife decided to give it a try. Despite the long queue, the wait was surprisingly only 20 minutes! My wife and I tried both the original and matcha flavors, and we absolutely loved the matcha mochi! The initial slight bitterness melted away quickly, revealing a fragrant matcha taste that was simply divine. Unlike traditional mochi, Warabimochi has a smooth texture that's less sticky and requires minimal chewing. Don't forget to add the sweet sauce for an extra boost of flavor! We also tried the original flavor, which was delightful, and paired it with a unique sesame soy milk drink to share. While I'm not a fan of either sesame or soy milk, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! One suggestion for improvement: the staff needs to properly arrange the queue to avoid confusion. We experienced a slight mix-up when those behind us were suddenly moved to the front, causing a bit of chaos. However, this didn't dampen our enthusiasm for the delicious treats! Yes, it's a bit pricey, but trust me, it's worth the splurge.

We ordered the 2pc cup. The mochi was really nice, soft and chewy plus the fragrance is the peanut and sweet sauce. The lemonade drink is delicious. Stir well and the sugar and mochi will be more even when you drink it. The tenku no hojicha is creamy and the sweetness comes from the mochi. The drinks are really special. So don't miss them. We also ordered the 10pc mochi. It was neatly packed with chopsticks and mochi stick.
