One of the affordable restaurants in Far East Plaza.
Not so crowded like other famous restaurants near by.
The taste was just normal personally, but the meat was tender, a bit too strong-taste sauce for my liking.
Staff were kind. I had a good impression.

Not recommended.
We tried this restaurant. But we found out why it’s empty and no guest . The lady is very rude and was yelling after paying . Also , no tissues. You have to buy. Not recommended.

I came here for lunch with my colleagues at work and we ordered three items to share.
Firstly, there was the 🍲 Mala, which is about 100g for $2.88 regardless of whether you choose meat or vegetables. We opted for small spicy, and it was really flavorful without being too oily or too salty. The vegetables were nice and crispy, and the portion size was good too.
🍲 We also ordered an Egg Fried Rice, which I thought was seriously underwhelming. However, for $6, the portion size is pretty good. It contained an array of vegetables like cucumber and carrots, and one egg. It was done quite haphazardly, and even though it was nothing special, I guess it serves as a very safe carb option.
🍗 The Prawn Paste Chicken Winglets ($12 for 8 pcs) was surprisingly good and did not have that refrigerator taste. The pieces were really big; eight pieces of succulent and very well-marinated chicken. It’s very rare that I can actually taste the flavor of the prawn paste in the marinade, and I would highly recommend this as a sharing dish. It tastes exceptionally delicious when it is piping hot out of the oil.
The dining space here is quite small. They have about three people working in the kitchen to fulfill your order, so the waiting time is roughly about 10 minutes. The space is rather small and can perhaps house about 4 groups of people only.

Was contemplating for lunch during weekend near the usual famous zichar stall. Next to it, this shop drew my attention. There were not many people in the shop during lunchtime, but I gave it a go.
Ordered 2 rice set meals and 1 ala carte meal. Price was very affordable! And surprisingly the foods were decent and nice. I can say this could be a hidden gem right under our nose. Give it a try!

i used to eat this often when i was working in the area a few years ago, revisited recently and the quality of their mala xiang guo is still really good! their take on it has this smokiness that i've never tasted anywhere else, ingredients were well cooked and overall the seasoning was incredibly savoury and addictive. highly recommended if you like stronger flavours in your mala!

I would never imagine a lackluster place could cook up such delectable Mala dish presented in a very appetizing manner. I love to pick and choose the ingredients I enjoyed eating. Also it is quite reasonably priced. I am definitely keen to try other mala dishes on their menu.

Went in with zero expectations and got our taste buds blown away! Very underrated place that is definitely worth a try if you’re into Chinese food. The highlight was definitely the sour fish soup! Kudos to the chef!

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this restaurant located in top floor Far East mall.
Would definitely come back to try more dishes.
Lemon grass chicken pleasently fresh and crispy. Salted egg sauce pork ribs also great. Vegetables fresh!

I’ve been here many times trying different dishes. So far, everything has been done well.
Food I’ve tried - shredded chicken aka 口水雞, MLXG, salted egg pork rib, fried French bean, tofu century egg and fried wings.
I love them all, lol. In my opinion, their salted egg dish is far more superior than next door’s Iykyk.
Service is very good too. Friendly and proactive.
Environment wise, spacious and comfortable.

🤩 Eating here was a random find, and no regrets at all 🥳
Ordered the mala fish slice bowl, the mala tofu and the claypot eggplant (the taste was wonderfully unique and balanced the other mala dishes so well‼️) and they were all deliciously awesome 👏
📍To all mala lovers and fans of spicy food, this kitchen is a must visit‼️
