I’m disappointed with the design and service scope of VC’s (Vacheron Constantin) brand. After buying watches from different brands, I’ve never seen such a complicated strap design.
A component on the strap fell off, which caused trouble for collectors.
After checking with the sales advisor and technician, they said they had never seen this issue before and advised me to return to the original country of purchase to consult the original store.
This level of service quality is not acceptable for a top-tier watch brand with a price tag of $40K. Maybe increase your budget for a better brand experience and design.
It turns out the store’s service scope only covers the watch itself, not the branded strap.

for allocating the Overseas 4520V as my first purchase and Iris Liu for her impeccable service over the years. Iris was always professional and patient in managing my expectations; always hospitable whenever I visit the boutique and makes me feel welcome - she even remembers the watches I wore on my visits, which is sweet of her and appreciated. Back to the watch: it is a thing of beauty, the stunning sunburst blue lacquered dial is unlike any dial; the bracelet and accompanying straps are top notched, and the easy-to-use bracelet/strap change system makes for such great usability. Truly a grail watch worth the wait.

Impeccable service from Iris. Was warmly welcome into the boutique to have a family portrait taken with their pop up holiday drop then proceed with viewing all the travel pieces.
Iris is very knowledgeable and patient in introducing each piece in detail. It was more of a watch appreciation session than the usual “wanting to get your sales” kind of interaction which is often seen with other brands.
Made me appreciate the brand more and wanting to return visit soon for more such interaction.

Overall , I feel very comfortable and Kenneth even go the extra mile advise me on which watch I should be going for and why is that so. Had a great conversation about our interests in watches.

Staff were friendly at the Ion outlet and let me try the watch I was interested in. I had decided on buying a particular model and the staff said they will get back to me and gave their number to WhatsApp for any queries. I followed up to enquire about something but didn’t receive any reply - unfortunate because I was set on buying the watch - but this left a sour taste - their loss. However, as I mentioned staff at Ion are much better at service than the person at MBS. He was supremely disinterested in engaging with me even though there was no one else at the boutique. Reluctantly let me try one of the display pieces. So, if you like to visit a VC boutique- go to the Ion one.

Went into VC 1 month ago for my first VC experience, having never seen their watches in the flesh before. Went there again last week to browse.
Had a fantastic experience both times; special shoutout to Senior Sales Manager Vincent who let me try on lots of VC pieces and shared valuable nuggets of information, which seriously prompted me to consider adding a VC to my collection.
I pulled the plug on 30th May before the prices went up (1st June) on a OVerseas Dual Time 7900V black dial. Patiently waiting for it to arrive....
