Walk along the sidewalk at Orchard rd from the Takashimaya to Ion side and you might spot Uncle Chieng's food cart. Its a popular sidewalk snack with a long line of customers anytime of the day. Got the Ice cream sandwich with Wafer instead of bread. Its cheap.... delicious and gone in 60 seconds. In hindsight I should have gotten 2 flavors. Lots of flavors to choose from and prep time takes less than 2 minutes. There are benches nearby where you can sit down. During the night, the stairs in front of the buildings is also a popular option to sit down. Proper disposal of course with trash bins nearby. Totally amazed by the energy of the old couple running the store. Most people would pay and not take the change in support of this amazing sidewalk ice cream icon. Personally I prefer this snack during the night as you stroll along the not so busy streets. If if you chance upon this cart along the sidewalk... just go for it no matter how long the line. Sometimes its the simple things in life that brings great joy.

Right in front of the Ngee Ann City, Orchard.
This uncle🧓 sell the "OLD SCHOOL" ice-cream in a traditional trishaw. It has a very traditional ice-cream taste😋, and you eat it the traditional "OLD SCHOOL" way. Remind me of the childhood days🥰. …

First time in Singapore in a long time and got lucky that we bumped into this stall after walking in Takashimaya and went on a whim for the wafer ice creams. Best ice cream in SG by far and the uncle and aunty are friendly 🥰 will come back again soon …

Various flavors of ice cream combined with bread or biscuits. One of the cheapest dessert in Singapore. Tastes really good so it's quite crowded with locals and tourists, yep it's very popular. Worth to try. Currently the price has increased to $1.5 from $1.2

In two consecutive days we enjoy this ice cream.
Located at orchard. Easy to find.
Slice of ice cream with soft bread. We have try vanilla, vanilla with choco chips and taro
All the taste is delicious, but we like the most is choco chips.
You should try this ice cream if you are strolling around orchard road.

Wondering why so many people queueing at the trishaw 😝😝🤭🤣
Joined the queue and ordered my yam flavour ice cream block on bread slide. Beside bread, the uncle also offer ice cream block on wafer and cone.
The bread is yummy with attractive colours 😁. Pretty good and deserve a 4 out of 5 stars for a street ice cream.
Recommended to try.
