My favorite place to eat rice with pork satay at Paragon. Even though the place is small and the seating is in the corner, it became my hidden spot to eat when I was alone. The best one is tontoro, which often runs out. And the jumbo sausage is really delicious. Don't forget to ask them to add extra sauce.

The curry actually works! Get a piece of Katsu anything and pour the curry over it and the rice. Turns your regular Tori-Q rice box into curry rice box. Tasty stuff. Shiok! Back again with the curry sauce. Shiok.

February 2025 At first I noticed that the food handlers were touching the food boxes and cashiering without washing hands or sanitizing …. Then I had an upset stomach after consuming the food. I found that they store their rice next to the bin. Like literally blocking the bin. If that’s not gross I don’t know what is …. I would caution against consuming from this establishment unless you have a strong stomach.

TORI-Q have several outlets in Singapore. It is a Japanese yakitori restaurant. The restaurant has several tables but clients take away the food. It could be compared as Japanese street food. The menu is based on several choices of sticks (between different pieces of pork, chicken or sausage). You could have also a bento box with rice included if you order at least 4 sticks. Try 2-3 items and really enjoy the chicken Goyza. The particularity is also the sauce. To resume It is good, fast and not expensive.

Like to highlight it the staffs of this outlet in view of the atmosphere during my dine in experience. The staffs were exchanging conversation freely and loud that I could capture the details shared and it was very disturbing to have the loud noise affecting my enjoyment of the food. I wished the staff were more aware of the surrounding to know that there are dine in customers around and do not carry out loud conversation. Food was served well.

My favourite yakitori stall. I just went and bought few yakitori for bites. Their chicken skin was crispy and good. I like the bacon asparagus as well. Usually I would order with rice for lunch or finner, this time only bites. Their rice was good. One time, I bought the rice and cooked at home. There are few seats inside to dine-in and once go in there are 2 more seats which weren't really visible from outside.

Japanese yakitori fast food with rice. Someone probably found a way to piece 1+1 together, bringing automated skewering techniques into an otherwise traditional dish made by hand. Don't expect anything too fancy, but you can definitely expect consistency in the food items. Personally like the chicken skewers, the pork ball, and the pirikara karaage. Good for takeaways and deliveries too, the food can travel decently well.

Cramped outlet with only a few seats. The rice was dry. The kaarage was dry and stale. I am not joking when i say that the frozen kaarage i have at home is juicier and tastier than the kaarage here. Absolutely terrible food for the price point.

Had tori-q for lunch the taste was excellent, there were some aspects that left room for improvement. The small dining space indicates it’s better suited for takeaway orders. However, the service could be clearer as the server didn’t speak clearly. One notable downside was the sauce being directly applied to the rice without prior inquiry, which wasn’t to my preference. Nonetheless, the yakitori, particularly the tontoro, stood out with its delicious flavor.
