I brought my watch down for authentication, and the process was quick and done right in front of me. They carefully inspected everything—from the outer appearance to the internal mechanical parts—by removing the back case of the watch.
The uncle even offered to let me take a photo of the opened watch for my own records, which was a thoughtful touch. The price quoted for the authentication service was also very reasonable.
Highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a reliable and professional watch authentication service. A smooth, honest, and trustworthy experience!

Not many reviews out there online of this once so I'll help to share my experience going there. Mr lim is an ex Rolex technician who struck out on his own to open a shop here in lucky plaza.
When I arrived, I noticed a queue already starting to form with a mixture of old and young people; all here to consult him on watch issues. The antique wooden display cabinets are adorned with many vintage watches which are part of his personal collection. During my wait, I noticed people interacting with him as if they are old friends: one person even dropped his watch off and told mr lim there was no need for a receipt chit to show that the watch was in his possession, such a high level of trust! Some people even dropped by just to chit chat with the affable Mr lim.
When it came to my turn to let him have a look at my timepiece, he scrutinized it, made a few adjustments in the movement, and the problem was all fixed in 10 mins! He told me politely that my movement was still in good shape and that there was no need for furthermore servicing. The price he charged was extremely reasonable as well; I expected to pay upwards of three digits and leave the watch there for a few weeks but ended up paying only a low double digit sum and had the watch fixed in 10 minutes!
The shop seemed full of happy smiling people, which was a testament to the good service provided by him.

Met a seller at Top Hour to authentic a rolex. Great service from uncle and gave good advice on what to look out for in watch care. Price is also very reasonable for the service. His personal collection in the store are full of very cool pieces too.

He patiently examined my watch from inside out during the authentication process.

Brought my watch down for repair due to movement issue. Upon checking , he helped me oiled the watch and told me to monitor without charging . A very honest boss !

Beware, do not ignore the 1 star reviews by other users as well.
I had such high hopes for this watchmaker after reading some positive reviews, but my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. I sent in my Rolex 16610 for repair, and I was initially told that the spring was broken, which he said was a common issue. I agreed to pay $120 for the repair.
However, just two months later, my watch stopped working again. Frustrated, I returned to the shop, and after inspection, I was told that a tiny gear was badly worn and needed replacement. They charged me an additional $20 for the repair and mentioned that if it stopped working again, a full service would be necessary.
To my disbelief, my watch stopped working again after just 20 minutes! At this point, I had lost all confidence in this watchmaker and decided to seek help from another professional. The second watchmaker informed me that the same spring had broken, leaving me thoroughly unsatisfied with the service I had received.

A highly recommended shop that provide watch service/repairing and authentication! You can always trust on Mr Lim from Top Hour to authenticate your luxury watches! He would take his time to examine the watch regardless of the queue of customer. All details are checked and even explained to you that you are rest assured with buying genuine watch. I am amazed and impressed with the size of shop and yet hidden with plenty of gems and treasures in the shop. Simply great place to go

Looked everywhere for a link for my vintage Rolex, and only Mr Lim had it. Not only was the service top-notch, the pricing is very reasonable and it only took a short while to get it done. You wont regret bringing your beloved timepiece to him. Definitely the best!!!
