Am a fan of their tradition pastries. I especially love the yam one. The yam ones had to be consumed within 3 days and this time of the year, they had it in mooncake size and the box is so beautiful! Service is friendly and quick. Love my purchase! And the upsize ones turned out to be as flavorful with added salted egg yolk! 🤩

Came across this Teochew traditional bakery selling baked pastry with red bean and other fillings. Pleasantly surprised that they have this 四点金 Golden joy pastry with filings made from red bean, spicy pork floss and salted egg yolk, topped up with a little golden flakes. Hope this type of traditional pastry shop can continue for more generations and expand.

❇️ Paragon shopping mall / Thye Moh Chan ****************************************** 🟨 Bought super-delicious salty "Tau Sar Piah" from old school pastry shop "Thye Moh Chan" at basement level of Paragon Shopping Mall. 🟦 The Breadtalk Group had bought over Thye Moh Chan in 2013. 💜 I like eating their tau-sar-piah during tea time. The quality of Thye Moh Chan's tar sar piah is similar to the salty-sweet Penang type of tau sar piah. ✔️ Very good quality traditional pastries. 😄 In my humble opinion, Thye Moh Chan makes the best tau-sar-piah in Singapore. The original shop was once at Geylang. ● Thye Moh Chan was bought over by George Quek of Breadtalk. Bought the tau sar piah and pineapple pastries. The tau sar piah was nice, but too overpriced. Pineapple pastries were mixed up - I bought the gula melaka flavored ones, but when I opened the box, it was original flavour. Did not expect this especially since prices were on the high side. Anyway the pastry turned out so-so, not worth it.

We really loves the pastries! They fit perfectly to a high tea as well as making good gofts.

Only buy the traditional baked goods from this store. Tau Sa Piah is great. Traditional taste. I highly recommend the Yuan Yang (combination of salty and sweet tau sa with pork floss) and Salty Tau Sa Piah. If the staff is rude, just be the 'bigger' person and ignore their bad attitude which this chain is famous for if you want to try their traditional baked pastry. Forget about the modern commercial pastries that are pre-packed. Not worth the taste or the money. Located in the basement level. Highly recommended! 👍👍

Was served by a young lady who was very friendly and kind. She patiently recommended the flavours of tau sar piah. I bought two boxes and she kindly asked if I needed one more bag, super considerate. Ended up trying their yuan yang, salty, sweet tau sar piah which were all super good. Will definitely patronise this brand again!

Horrible service from both the old and slightly younger staffs! Packing was extremely poor and lazy too, stuffed 2 pastries in 1 single bag resulted in them falling apart upon reaching home. Packed the sweet and salted TSP in the same bag with no indication. The TSP crumbs and falls apart, can’t tell which is sweet and which is salty as the top with the wordings had flaked off! The pastries are good but I cannot said the same for the rude staffs! Rude, arrogant and unprofessional! The management must be treating their staffs so badly that they have to vent their anger on consumers?

Tried this brand long time ago and it was nice. Bought a box of tau sar piah yesterday but everything is totally off. It was dry, too much sweetened, poorly packaged, worst of all, it reeks of rancid cooking oil. I highly doubt that these tau sar piah are expired already, as there is NO expiry date NOR ingredient on the package. AVOID this brand for sure!!!
