Good egg tarts, have new salted egg yolk flavour - excellent if can have free tasting before we decide. Staff lady is polite and diligent though.

I didn't have much expectations since it's just good old Taiwanese style egg tarts but I was pleasantly surprised. The filling instead of being jelly-ish, tastes creamy and almost custardy in texture which i really enjoyed. The crust is very fragrant and buttery, though I personally feel like a milder flavour shell might complement the delicate, light filling better. The price is definitely on the higher side but it's worth a try at least once. The size is bigger than the common ones too.

Wanted to get something for dinner from one of stalls inside takashimaya And as luck would have it , I managed to get sold dumplings from the sole stall who don't sell steamed ones and informed I've no other choices after I've paid. Now I'm left holding two cold dumplings for the next few hours until I reached home I understand staff want to contribute but I honestly feel short changed or cheated by what happened .

🟩Tai Cheong Bakery ( from Hong Kong) 🟠391 Orchard Road, #B2 level Takashimaya, Food Hall, Singapore 238872 ✳️ Have been buying their egg tarts and other traditional pastries since 2016. I like eating their 老婆饼. ❇️ It is called Lao Bo Bing in Mandarin and "Loh Bor Peng" in Cantonese. ● I am sharing new photos taken on 15th Sept 2024 Sunday and also throwback pics from a few years back ( 💜 the memories )

I ordered 2 pandan tarts and 2 egg tarts on 8 Jan 2025, 6.02pm and was charged $10 for them, but was very disappointed when I opened the box and found that there were 4 egg tarts valued at $9.60 inside. The lady had packed it out of sight behind the small counter, and had put in the wrong items. My kids are so disappointed because they are the ones looking forward to the special pandan tarts. Is Tai Cheong going to make up for it the next time I go to the counter at Takashimaya? Update: Tai Cheong resolved the issue very satisfactorily and the kids were very happy t get their pandan tarts in the end! :)

Delicious egg tart located at Orchard. I have tried their pandan flavoured and it was pretty good. Though i still prefer the original one. Their price is abit expensive ($2+). Would recommend for gifts as they do provide you with a nice box. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 …

Famous egg tart from Hong Kong. Went on a weekday afternoon & there is only 3 people in front of me. Service is fast & can pay by credit card. Their signature egg tart is $2. Quite reasonable. Had their coconut tart too but it's not as nice. The crust of the egg tart is grainy with a savoury tinge, which is great. Would come again to order the egg tart.

Yummy! Tried their egg tart set as a gift with the pandan and original flavours. It was delicious and came in fancy packaging. The tarts were good with a soft pastry crust and filling!! P.S also check out my food IG @idk_justeat

Tai Cheong bakery condense milk bun is not as crispy as expected but the bread is so flavourful - the butter soaked into the bun! Tomato noodle soup: I thought the tomato soup would be really sour but no, the taste is just right. Perhaps they have changed the recipe to suit our tastes. Noodles is tangy. Spam is not too soggy. Polo bun with better is very soft. But wished it was warm up. Find the bread a tad sweet. Their milk tea never fails. Smell very fragrant with strong after taste of tea. Perfect!

This is easily one of the best egg tarts I have ever tasted. The crust's fragrance is present in every bite. The egg pastry is soft and not overly sweet. Having one isn't enough to satisfy the craving. Left overnight and still taste great. Although pricey, it's worth it
