Poor hygiene - staff used gloved hand to handle cash, and then used the same hand to handle raw ingredients. As for the food, the noodles itself was very delicious. The minced meat was generous in portion, tasty but yet not too salty. The vegetables were fresh too. The soup with the meat and offals inside were mediocre though. Overall, a value for money bowl of beef noodles.

颂记牛肉面 Definitely the best and most unique beef noodle soup in Singapore. A quick search shown that they origin from Penang, KL, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, now the first branch in Singapore. Don't be too used to Singapore style thick gummy sauce. This authentic stall is Hakka style- if you go Malaysia, you ll find them, not many of them. One is at Batu Pahat (called Hakka Taste)- the beef sauce is superbly solid with beef falvourful taste, without additive starch to make it thicker. The soup is the clear type without soy sauce to make the color dark. The thick chewy beef cuts, thin sliced tenderness, very soft beef stomach, such a skillful blend of different textures of ingredients (if you order mixed style). For this price $9.80 after covid, it definitely beat Tai Hwa's pork minced noodle which charges $10, coz the ingredients are solid fresh beef! It's not the first time i taste this stall. I find myself keep coming back here, because it's really authentic. Cant seem to find another one in Singapore. Let me know if you know!

Love the super tender silky beef slices and tripe in a clear broth that is flavorful without being salty. Must whack the beef slices in their orangey chilli sauce. Kaboom! Party in my mouth. Shiok! I’d give the other beef parts a miss though. Beef ball is ok. The al dente noodles tossed in their special dark soy mince beef sauce is also solid and well balanced in taste. Overall very shiok especially when I wasn’t expecting much passing by for a quick meal. Next time I’ll just get slice beef and tripe only. Don’t waste time.

The Beef Noodles here are affordable and the taste is so good 👍 The soup, how they cook the noodles, and the beef are just nice.
