The services done was cut, colour (non bleach), Gloss and Anti-Frizz Treatment. The end product was above and beyond my expectation!!! 😝😚
The colour turned exactly how I imagined! I would return for all my hair services and would highly recommend this salon. I honestly felt looked after extremely well and the after hair care advice was truly appreciated. Thank you for making me fall in love with my hair again! 🥰❤️

It’s my first time in this hair saloon and Kit was amazing and assisted me in literally everything! From consulting to doing the right treatments and all:) He was very kind, friendly and professional in taking care of what I wanted and excelled in cutting my hair (layering) and colouring my hair! I asked him for advice and he made sure no mistakes were made and everything was meticulous👍🏻
Definitely recommend this saloon and Kit if you need recommendations for hair styling or colour but I’m sure the other hair stylists are great too! So so satisfied and I love my hair even more now, hehe

I had an amazing experience at SO Salon. My stylist Sasah was very professional and honest — she gave me great advice about whether my hair was in good condition to dye or not, which I really appreciated. You can tell they care about the health of your hair, not just the result. The salon also pays attention to small details, like offering a blanket to make customers comfortable during the service. It’s such a relaxing and friendly environment. Highly recommend this salon and their amazing team.

Did the Triple Resistance Treatment and I absolutely love the results! My hair feels healthier, smoother, and stronger.
Sasha was my stylist and she was fantastic. She explained the treatment step by step and also shared how to maintain and care for my hair after, so the results will last longer. I really appreciated that she gave personalised tips based on my hair type and recommended products that would work best for me — without being pushy at all.
Overall, very pleased with both the service and the outcome. Worth every dollar. The location is also super accessible, which is a big plus. Highly recommend!

I had such a bad experience here, and I’m honestly so upset.
I decided to come to this salon after seeing an influencer promoting their bleaching and colouring services. I’ve been bleaching my hair for years, and I even told the stylist during my appointment that I was very worried because a previous salon at East Coast Road had burnt my hair badly before. It took me 3 years to grow my hair back healthy.
But during this session, I noticed something worrying. The stylist didn’t wash off the first round of bleach before reapplying the second round. Instead, she left the first bleach sitting on my roots for over 20 minutes before applying more, and leave it on my hair for 40-60minutes. I wasn’t comfortable with this, but I trusted that they knew what they were doing.
The next day, my worst fear came true—my hair started breaking from the root area where they bleached. It’s been few weeks, and my hair is still breaking. Now all my roots have short, broken hairs sticking up, and I can’t leave my hair untied without it looking horrible.
I even Googled afterwards and found out that proper bleaching should never layer chemicals like this without washing in between—it overprocesses the hair and causes breakage.
They did invite me back to let their director take a look, but I honestly don’t dare to let them use their products on my hair again. I don’t want to risk making things worse. It took me years to recover from the last time this happened, and now I don’t know how many more years it’ll take for my roots to grow back properly.
I’m so disappointed. I came to this salon because I trusted their reputation, but what I got was severely damaged hair and a lot of regret.

Kit has been my go-to hairstylist for years, and I’m so glad he’s now at So Salon. The space is new, clean, and inviting. The hair wash by his colleague was so relaxing I almost dozed off!
Kit continues to be as reliable as ever. He always gives thoughtful suggestions for both cut and colour, and I know I’m in good hands each time I visit.
The salon is conveniently located, the service is great, and I couldn’t be happier. Though part of me is tempted not to leave this review… just in case he gets too booked out for my next appointment! 😅

Tried the Water Gloss Treatment today and I’m amazed at the results! My hair feels incredibly smooth, hydrated, and so shiny without feeling heavy. The stylist Sasah and Den was gentle and explained each step clearly. Truly a great experience!
