1st visit and will be the last. Ordered hot cuppocino and ondeh-ondeh. Cuppo was served - cold milk and warm coffee. Brought back to the cashier. The young lady at the cashier raised her voice and said “you want the coffee to be hotter is it?”. The key is the milk is still cold and coffee is only warm. She changed a new cup but it still comes with cold milk and this round higher temp coffee (the same “barista”). This is a really bad Cuppo I had. Didn’t drink and left.

Good things must share — and Sinpopo Brand at Scotts definitely has some gems. The Pulut Hitam Cake was divine: moist, fragrant, and a nostalgic hug in every bite. The Mao Shan Wang dessert lived up to its durian crown — rich, creamy, and worth every spoonful. The Teh Tarik leaned on the lighter side; I was expecting a thicker, frothier pull. But maybe that’s a matter of preference — if this is how it’s meant to be, then good job for keeping it consistent! Only small quibble: I had to use up a fair bit of my “woman word quota” just to get the poker-faced counter staff’s attention. 😅 A little more attentiveness would make the whole experience smoother (and save my word count for spilling the tea with friends). Still, once served, everything was a treat. Sinpopo blends tradition and comfort beautifully, with a nice song playlist to match. Already worth coming back for — just with fingers crossed that next time I won’t need semaphore signals for service. 🎤 🤣

Came here for coffee and some kueh. The coffee is strong and fragrant. The kueh salat has a soft upper layer and nice Glutinous rice layer. It is fragrant and not too sweet. The kueh kosui is not as soft and tasty as I was expecting. Service is quick.

Dine in here with some friends. Service is good and really like the coffee and the cake. The cake here is special as it has a touch of local taste. Also love the place as it is not crowded so we can take time to enjoy the coffee and cake.

🔵 Sinpopo Coffee 🟩 6 Scotts Square Unit #01-K2, Singapore 228209 🔵 Location / Ambience _____________________________ 🔵 The Sinpopo Cafe is located on the ground floor of Scotts Square. 🔵 It is an open-air cafe set in the central atrium space of Level 1. 🔵 The cafe is decorated in soothing hues of cream, beige, brown, grey & other neutral tones. ● Seating is evenly spaced out, and features comfortable armchairs, creating a relaxed and pleasant environment. 🟡 Food ************ 🟡 Bought 2 boxes of Ondeh-Ondeh from Sinpopo Cafe. 🟡 Each serving has three Ondeh-Ondeh pieces for SGD5. 🟡 The Ondeh-Ondeh is a local Peranakan and Malay dessert snack. 🟤 The soft & chewy outer dough is made of sweet potato and glutinous rice flour. 🟡 Inside is a molten Gula Melaka filling, and the dough is rolled in desiccated coconut flakes. 🟡 My wife's late parents were true-blue Peranakans and they used to make Ondeh-Ondeh in the old days. 😅That is how my wife knows the recipes to all the Peranakan kueh. 🟧 I must say the Ondeh-Ondeh is a lovely treat. Biting into the molten Gula Melaka filling makes me happy and reminds me of my childhood days. 🟣 Service ************ 🟣 Service was friendly and efficient at the cafe. It is self-service: you order and collect your own kueh-kueh and beverages before bringing them to your seats.
