A wonderful look into the history of Singapore, and the possibilities of the future.
I could write so much, but instead recommend going to see for yourselves. But this is a limited time exhibition.
Using AI in a fun and educational way.

I visited the Orchard Library before it closed for renovation, and I always loved its calm and cozy atmosphere.
The modern design, quiet corners, and wide selection of books made it a great place to read, study, or just take a break from the city.
Though it’s temporarily closed, I’m looking forward to seeing how they improve it. Hoping the refreshed space will bring back the same peaceful vibe—with even better facilities.

A 30-45mins of AI generative zones depicting some general facts of Singapore. Suitable even for young kids at 4 and above. Touch points of history of Singapore with the tie in of books which you can borrow from the library. Go in from level 4 and it ends at level 3. Booking online before heading down.

The Library @ Orchard is a hidden gem in the heart of Singapore, offering a serene escape amidst the bustling shopping district. Located in Orchard Gateway, this library is modern and thoughtfully designed, with a focus on lifestyle, design, and the arts. Its spacious layout, cozy reading corners, and floor-to-ceiling windows create an inviting atmosphere perfect for reading or quiet contemplation.
The curated selection of books, magazines, and digital resources caters to a wide range of interests, with an emphasis on creative and design-centric topics. The library's unique shelving, arranged in a flowing, wave-like pattern, adds to its contemporary aesthetic. There are also dedicated areas for exhibitions and workshops, making it a vibrant community space.
Whether you're a book lover, a design enthusiast, or just looking for a peaceful place to unwind, the Library @ Orchard is a must-visit destination in Singapore.

Heart & Soul: If you are punctual, they will say you are LATE and ask you to queue and wait if you still wish to enter - there's no guarantee of entry. Staff insisted that you have to arrive 10 minutes earlier than alloted time slot to queue Not mentioned in email with tickets. I think if one still wishes to go, better arrive 20 minutes ahead of alloted time slot. Otherwise no point coming. Don't waste your time queueing. They don't even give priority to families with young children.

Very clean and modern library. Not the biggest but one of the most delicately designed National Library.
Very fashionable and with a reasonable amount of space available. Good for a quick rest.
At the entry there is space to park the bicycle.
Easily accessible and quiet. Small exhibition available that’s within one of the open space area.

This review is for the SG60 Heart&Soul Experience which hijacked the Orchard Library in Sep 2025. The exhibit looks cool but I never made it in due to the sheer inflexibility of the staff. They won't let you in without a booking, which can be done on the spot but the catch is the next slot is 1 hour away and they won't let you in advance despite the place being nearly empty. Even worse ahead of me was a foreign couple who got rejected because they were 15 minutes late for their booking - I felt so bad for them, and so ashamed that this is the "heart & soul" experience that Singapore is giving tourists. So much for "meeting the future"... Just the same unthinking uncaring inflexible bureaucracy of Today

Imagine I've lived near a library I didn't know about & found a while ago - a captivating & aesthetically pleasing one, too. (And I’m a true book worm). Definitely the coolest library in Singapore & centrally located in Somerset 313 on famous Orchard Road.
A beautiful modern architectural, white & bright library with wide spacious corridors & lots of scattered seating that feels inviting to anyone who’s eager to browse or read books or magazines. A well stocked place with curved shelves & good lighting.
Many seats are slightly tucked away for quiet reading, but also directed towards the view outside right next to large windows with lots of light. This is a haven from outside busy life, but above all it’s a beautiful library & a great place to switch of, read & and relax with one of the many treasures on the shelves & just enjoy the moment.
