Chanced upon a 2-day part-time job, applied for it, and was handled by Xinru.
Told me it’s only a 1-day job while hearing other part-timers have 2 days instead when I started my work. I closed one eye.
Don’t even bother telling me that in order to get my pay, I have to submit a timesheet via an app until I asked her about my pay, whether it is in, and I don’t even know my contract was in until I was checking my mail for personal reasons before i started the work.
If i knew the administrative matters was gonna be so poor, i wouldn’t have applied for it

[UPDATE] Received a phone call from them. As usual, the person asked me if I am open to other industries. And keep saying it's hard to find a suitable position that I am interested in due to my qualifications. When asked about my expected salary, and again they said it's hard. With this economy, do you think earning below $2000 is enough?
It's hard for people who have way better qualifications than me to secure a job. Even so, with the salary, they are getting so little and needing to do 2 people's jobs (?) What makes you think that I'm not aware of the current job market?
Also, whoever called me to clarify that this Jayden has a lot of notifications, therefore he's unable to reply to my text, think again. If I have said yes, he's so fast to respond.
I think it's a culture thing if you work as a recruiter to ghost candidates when they aren't interested in the position they are offering. In the first place, why post a job listing when it's not available? And why are you offering candidates a position that doesn't align with their career goals? I mean, if I were interested in the position that is being offered, I would've applied in the first place.

Journey tsen was very rude and irresponsible. When I resign and ask for my salary. It took more than 7 days. When I ask him why so long. As MOM regulation is within 7 days. He said to me that if I’m not happy. I can always go to MOM TO complain. BEWARE THIS IS A GANGSTER AGENCY

Hi Recruitfirst,
I would like to raise a formal complaint regarding the behaviour of your recruiter, Lee Ching Yee. On the past few days of me trying to apply for a job from her and she kept on leaving me on seen and unresponsive, kept saying she has a job for me and when i tried to apply she kept ignoring me. This behaviour was unprofessional and caused confusion, wasted time.
I am requesting that this matter be looked into and appropriate steps be taken.
Thank you,
akiye
Was looking and browsing through jobs at FastJobs and went on to apply there. 1st agent was Shermaine, she straight up ghosted me after answering her questions through WhatsApp and the 2nd agent ShaoFeng gave no updates.
Shaofeng straight up ghosted me after a call after asking him for updates. Would appreciate if they were transparent whether I got the job at all but they don’t have the common courtesy to update about the outcome.
These are the 2 agents:

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the excellent support I received from Debra Choo throughout the recruitment process. She has been exceptionally professional, efficient, and dedicated, making the entire experience smooth and reassuring.
She took the time to guide me thoroughly on how to answer interview questions—what to say, what to avoid, and how to present myself confidently. Her advice was clear, practical, and extremely helpful. She also reminded me to prepare for my interview and even went the extra mile to improve and strengthen my résumé.
Thanks to her patience, effort, and commitment, I was successfully selected for the position. I am truly grateful for her kindness and outstanding service. She is a wonderful representative of her profession, and I highly recommend her to anyone seeking guidance in their job search.

I was looking for a part-time job and happened to come across RecruitFirst on Google. That’s when I got in touch with my consultant, Lavia Tay — and I can’t thank her enough for the exceptional service and genuine care she provided throughout the entire process.
From the very first day I contacted her until I successfully landed the job, Lavia was with me every step of the way. She gave clear instructions, responded promptly to all my messages, and made sure I felt supported throughout the journey. During the interview stage, she constantly checked in to ensure I was doing okay and even offered useful tips to help me better prepare — something that really made a difference.
What stood out most was the personal touch she brought to the experience. She didn’t just communicate like a corporate consultant — she treated me like a person. She made sure I knew how to get to the interview location, asked how I was feeling, and followed up in a way that felt sincere and warm. Even after I started the job, she continued to check in on me frequently asking how i am doing and also to see how I was coping — not just as a consultant, but almost like a friend, genuinely caring about my well-being in today’s stressful environment.
I truly appreciate everything my consultant Lavia has done for me and I hope RecruitFirst recognizes how rare and valuable a staff member like her is. She strikes the perfect balance between professionalism and a heartfelt, personal approach — and that made all the difference. Nonetheless i would also recommend RecruitFirst to anyone out there looking for a job as its not complicated and hassle-free!

Had a great experience with Ms Racheal Lam as my recruitment agent. She was patient and supportive throughout the recruitment process. Her guidance and attentive to details helps me to secure a job promptly.
Appreciate that she took the effort to go through the pre-preparation interview with me before i go for the interview and followed up with me after the interview. Her professionalism and attentiveness made the process much smoother and highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive recruiter!
