Pain Relief Practice operates at Shaw House providing specialized therapeutic services focused on pain management through various treatment modalities. Pain management clinics serve important healthcare functions by addressing chronic pain conditions that significantly impact quality of life, offering alternatives or complements to medication-based approaches that may cause side effects or dependency concerns. These specialized practices provide expertise beyond what general practitioners can offer in standard consultation timeframes, allowing comprehensive assessments and personalized treatment plans addressing complex pain conditions.
Treatment approaches typically combine multiple modalities including physical therapy techniques, manual manipulation, exercise prescription, postural correction, ergonomic advice, and potentially complementary therapies like acupuncture or electrotherapy. Pain management requires ongoing relationships where practitioners monitor progress, adjust treatments, and address setbacks—comprehensive care that builds trust and therapeutic alliances essential for addressing chronic conditions.
Located at Shaw House on Orchard Road, Pain Relief Practice positions itself within Singapore's commercial and medical services corridor where convenient accessibility matters for patients requiring regular treatment visits. The Orchard location provides MRT connectivity and parking that facilitates appointment attendance despite pain-related mobility limitations.

The physiotherapy is very strong in assessing my conditions 1) migraine 2) soreness on the upperback. Most of the treatment is done using the radiotherapy - very little manual therapy although that's my preference.Exercise were prescribe right afterwards.
Edit after reply:
Forget to add that this clinic is an opportunistic clinic. Easily charge $250+$125 (for the tecar therapy extra duration). just cross reference other low review and you will understand the reason for my 2 star review. Is it because insurance can claim?

- Incomplete Assessment: The assessment felt rushed, and there was little explanation about the medications prescribed.
- Hard Selling: The GP frequently pushed their package and emphasized a "magical hot stone massage machine" that they claimed would relieve pain "faster."
- Referral Concerns: The GP only referred me to his own clinic, which seemed biased. The price for services was also higher than average, and he kept highlighting my corporate health insurance coverage to justify the cost.
- Unjustified Pricing: The cost didn't seem to align with the level of care provided. My pain worsened after the first session, prompting me to consult with another doctor for a second opinion.
- Cleanliness Issues: The GP assured me that the bed was cleaned after every visit, but I noticed several hairs on the pillow.

I’ve been experiencing persistent neck pain and was treated by Charlotte. She recommended hotheal and manual therapy, and by the time I left the clinic, the tension in my shoulders and neck had noticeably eased. She was very thoughtful throughout the session and consistently made sure I was comfortable. I’m really happy with the care she gave, and would definitely recommend Charlotte!

I injured my back 6 days ago and could only walk around with much pain and difficulty. My friend recommended me to the Pain Relief Practice and I am glad I came to get treated. After just 3 sessions of radio frequency therapy/physio, I am now 90% pain free and am able to walk normally. Charlotte walked me through every part of the process and gave great exercise guidance that speeded up my recovery. She is knowledgeable and very skilled. I would recommend anyone with mobility issues to go see them!

I injured my right knee during my holiday in Taiwan. I was in great pain and was limping. A friend recommended Pain Relief Clinic for treatment. After 4 sessions of heat therapy/physio, I am 90% healed. I could walk without pain, thanks to Charlotte for her patience and encouragement throughout the whole process. She taught me how to manage my pain and to continue with the exercises to strengthen my leg muscles and joints. She emphasised that I have to persevere with the exercise regimen to regain my leg strength. I would highly recommend Charlotte Teng. I could not have found a more empathetic physio therapist.
