There's a pot belly old man who always coughs and spits his phlegm in the gym sauna and steam room. No sink in there, is he spitting on the seat or floor??
So when the heat is turn on, his mucus and phlegm will evaporate and circulate in the room for the next users to breathe in!? Why is the management not doing anything to stop such unhygienic behaviour?

Power outlets taped up and members told that it is “house rules “ that they are not allowed to use power outlets….
Interesting concept and a really novel way to welcome members into the alumni clubhouse.
Here’s another concept - while you’re taping up the power outlets, tape up the entrance doorway as well.

I’ve been a member for many years now
The club back then prioritized members first. We had more accesses to tennis and swimming courts. Although social and networking events were not plentiful, they were enjoyable and authentic
As years gone by, usage of tennis and swimming courts were limited. Imagine 3 grown member adults sharing a single lane for a Saturday swim while the other lanes are used by swim school.
Now, the club is moving out. I was taken by surprise with the last minute announcement . Communications should have been more forthcoming and solicit members feedback and concerns. Yes, there was AGM. But what % of the club members attended and was minutes shared to ordinary members ?
I don’t like typing such comments over here because I do not know how else I can express my views as my recent communication with the club membership went radio silent
Just asking for parity and fairness in how the club treats its members

Held a wedding here but the service was such a disappointment!! I would NOT recommend holding a wedding here.
1. They made us pay them $250 extra on top of the venue wedding package fee that was already paid claiming that it was payment for cleaning up!!! THEY REQUESTED FOR THE PAYMENT TO BE MADE ONLY IN CASH which was honestly very strange. (There were 5 people there to clean so I’m assuming they were trying to get $50 per person) it’s a wedding….how can you demand for more money for clean-up??????? You mean if we do not make payment we’ll have to clean up after ourselves????? That’s just ridiculous!!!!
2. In-charge told us that his workers were too busy and could not help us cut the wedding cake, he reluctantly tried to help us cut the cake but in the end, I told him that forget it, I’ll cut it myself.
3. An NTU alumni club with no privileges for NTU Alumni? Very interesting 🥲

NTU Alumni Club provided a very cozy space for interaction with students volunteers and our clients from MINDS. Our members enjoyed themselves through table top activities and also karaoke session planned by the students. The space is able to fit about 20 students and clients. There are also ample space for clients who are on wheelchairs. The relaxed ambience also ensure the clients are more at ease to interact with the student volunteers. Staff was also very helpful before and during the session - giving us the necessary information to make it to the lounge and also helping us with the set up.

A great location for a party, nice space for a birthday backdrop and catering, and also lovely staff who is on site, who is knowledgeable and able to assist us on any set up queries. Everyone who came had a fun time. Thanks Perlyn for making our experience a memorable one :)
