About The Cathay
A mixed-use 17-story shopping mall and national monument with a rich history dating back to 1939. When it opened, The Cathay was Singapore's first skyscraper and air-conditioned cinema. After renovation, it reopened on 28 March 2025 with a futuristic 360-degree media wall, a Sky Garden on Level 4, and a 3-floor multimedia display. Notable tenants include Sheng Siong's first Orchard Road supermarket and Iuiga's largest flagship store. Located at the doorstep of Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.
