I just made 2 pairs of prescription glasses, one for reading and the other for distance. I paid slightly over S$1000 in all and have quality lenses and frame. The reading glasses have all necessary coatings and because of the high power lens, I choose the thinner lens with will not look like popping out of the frame. For the distance outdoor lens, they are coated to change to darker shades when exposed to the uv. I am happy with the service.

Was a truly pleasant experience. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and also honest about how the various specs suited my face. I am thankful that I visited Northern Opticians in Paragon! Thanks Jennifer!

Came in at noon, there were 2 service staff with one attending to a couple (the only other customer in the shop). The lady asked what I was looking for, I mentioned contact lens and the male service staff looked up and said without missing a beat "can you come back in 20 mins.". End of conversation. No explanation why but could see at least it was with a smile behind the mask (else it would be a one star). I came in alone, limping and in clutches, so not sure where he thought I could go for the next 20 mins. Any quick polite explanation would have been nice, e.g. the optometrist is busy or we need to do a full eye screening first or even we are closed for lunch. Cold, unwelcoming, never coming back.
