Niku Kappo is one of our favourite restaurants in ION, food is yummy and prices are relatively affordable.
My recommendations:
- Classic Hotpot (Pork and Beef are good)
- Potato Pizza (tbh all pizzas are good too)
- Ramen (very surprisingly because they’re not known for ramen but the broth is amazing)
- Deep fried squid (so good)
During my last visit they didn’t serve me the welcome drink (not sure if they still have it) but I don’t really care for it. Weekday Lunch sets are good and affordable.
Kris+ payment is available but getting nerfed come 1 July.

Food was good. We came here for Mt Fuji HotPot. The broth was light and tasty. Soy butter french fries is nice! Cold sesame noodles had some mala taste and was refreshing. Overall, recommended to eat here! Prices are not too expensive as well.

Nothing beats their mount fuji beef at $28.90, curry rice at $19.90. Opps what did I missed? Oh yes a totally free alcoholic spite welcome drink! Something nice to sooth your tired soul after work!

Not new to this restaurant, and the reviews get updated based on how the most recent visit went.
On this particular visit, the service seems to have improved.
Daisy, who seems to always be there when we visit, was super nice as usual. She even asked if i wanted a non-alcoholic welcome drink as i have a broken finger. And even took the effort to help me check if an item on the menu had onions inside. 🥲
The only problem this time was a small piece of paper that i found mixed in with the rice when i removed the lid.
They did replace the dish... but sadly, the perfect egg that came with the first gyudon was replaced by a more cooked one along with the replacement.

I ate here awhile back, forgot what i wanted to review already. But I think it’s around 4 stars because nothing particularly memorable.
But not really a fan of beef sushi, because there’s some beefy after taste.
