A popular YTF store with long queues during mealtime. Conveniently located in orchard! No choping of seats beforehand, you have to queue and place your order, before the staff assign you seating. It’s a good system IMO! I find the soup and sauce to be average. What stands out here is that they have homemade ingredients which many YTF stores don’t. Their signatures are their braised mushrooms and fried meatballs. I recently visited (Jan) in CNY month and they have some others too like dumplings! FYI they’ll serve the fried items separately in another bowl so they don’t get soggy. Nice! Slightly pricier than hawker center YTF stores but better and more variety ingredients, plus it’s a sit down aircon eatery!

Love the comfort with their 酿豆腐provide. Especially their fried pork balls and braised mushrooms are a must in your selection. And not forgetting their chilly sauce! It’s perfect for their fried pork balls. Been here so many times in the last 3 years and it’s only today I realised this place is called < My Favourite Cafe >

Long queue during peak hours. Decided to give it a try. Ingredients are fresh and noodles well cooked. The portion cost $10.80. I think they have forgotten about my veggie. Pretty normal to me. Price above average because of the location?

Small place, order first and then be seated. Has constant crowd. Food is not bad. sauce self help on the side counter. Tau Kwa was a little off in taste already. Fried meatballs are popular but on the hard side. $10 for about 7 or 8 pieces with sour plum drink

*FOOD POISONING CASE* 19/05/25 IF YOU VALUE YOUR STOMACH, AND DO NOT WANT FOOD POISONING. ESPECIALLY THE SAUCE AND CHILLI. (Prime cause of upset stomach) do not come to this place. Will escalate to SFA and let them investigate. I speak as a long time regular here untill recently almost every meal I had with them gave me food poisoning. Been going to the toilet for 6 times now at midnight. Previous incident was 12/05/25 and previously 27/04/25. Aside from that, the service has also always been extremely rude and the owner (the uncle) has some tempermental issues always forcing people to hurry and shouting. I used to come here for comfort food but now they not long deteriorated their food, they also deteriorated on the cleanliness.
