I just bought $38+ of yong tau foo and the lady in short hair, perhaps one of the owners, was freakin arrogant and totally disrespectful of people. She gave me 3 packets of soup , I said can I have an extra soup bcos I bought $38+ yong tau foo, so u can imagine how much food. She said it it alot already. HELLO? Are u eating or am I eating? If you r afraid people will waste your food, then dont accept take away. And she freakin gave me 3 packs of small chilli and sweet sauce, I said hey, can I have more chilli? She said it is alot already. WTfish. $38 worth of YTF is how many pcs, 3 packs of chilli is enough!!? Then she told her male staff okok she wants extra give her 1 more. I freakin said FORGET IT NO NEED. And this woman said GIVE U ALSO U DONT WANT. Hey, woman.. do u think we clients are beggars?! Look at how much I bought? Is 3 packs of chillis enough. Then I walked off, this ruined my MC day man. And I DIDNT TAKE the disposable utensils cos I dont need. Hello, if u want to save and manage ur wastage THEN DONT ALLOW TA-BAO. And ensure all clients eat them savour the last drop of their soup or chilli, OR ELSE Wasted RIGHT? I WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. U CAN BE ARROGANT NOW U THINK UR BIZ IS GOOD, BUT WITH THIS SERVICE AND ATTITUDE UR BIZ DEFINITELY WONT LAST LONG.

Duno whats the hype abt tis place. Dun get it at all. Just normal Ytf.
And the (must order) fried meat balls.
Errrr, my advice - save it.
And msg is clear - Eat Finish and GO. dun hang around.
Hints are given nonstop to u to go.
We came in a group of 5. 4 of us finish n surely we had to wait for the last? No?
First they came to clear the bowls 1 by 1, no issue. Den the smaller stuff.
Den the cups.
And came by another 3-4 x to check.
Personally i find it quite irritating.
Of cos we will leave once our friend finish. Doesn't makes sense we come in 5 , leave our friend there?
We are also automatic and will leave to chat elsewhere. Its just a matter of waiting our friend to finish the food.
Lastly, remember to check the pricing of your bowl. Nuff said

Had a very bad experience today. If i could give 0/5, i would definitely do so. We wanted to try out the yong tau foo due to good reviews we found online. First, we did not know we should order first then get a seat, hence I looked for a table to settle my two young kids before ordering for the food. As we wanted to try the food first before deciding whether to get more, we ordered 1 bowl of 7 pieces of ytf. When I handed the chosen items over, an uncle came over immediately and rudely commented that we only ordered 1 bowl for 4 people (he just simply assumed children must eat ytf?), then how he does business like this. My hubby and I were taken aback by his rudeness. We were so tempted to just walk away. However, we did not do so because I felt that since we had already chosen the items, I didn't want to trouble other people. Then when we were seated down, a worker was very quick to ask us whether we wanted to order drinks. And not to be confronted by the uncle again, who is the boss, we ordered 2 drinks. The bill came up to 11 dollars. We quickly finished the food and drinks and left. The ytf were nothing like the reviews, I don't understand what the hype is about. The bittergourd with fish paste was not cooked thoroughly as the bittergourd was hard and the much raved meat ball was not heated up so it was cold. The rest of the ytf were just so-so. Will definitely not be back again. They should not be so rude to customers. This will be our first and last time here.

*FOOD POISONING CASE* 19/05/25 IF YOU VALUE YOUR STOMACH, AND DO NOT WANT FOOD POISONING. ESPECIALLY THE SAUCE AND CHILLI. (Prime cause of upset stomach) do not come to this place. Will escalate to SFA and let them investigate. I speak as a long time regular here untill recently almost every meal I had with them gave me food poisoning. Been going to the toilet for 6 times now at midnight. Previous incident was 12/05/25 and previously 27/04/25. Aside from that, the service has also always been extremely rude and the owner (the uncle) has some tempermental issues always forcing people to hurry and shouting. I used to come here for comfort food but now they not long deteriorated their food, they also deteriorated on the cleanliness.

This "coffeeshop" selling only Yong Tau Foo on the 6th floor of Lucky Plaza is a fantastic and affordable dining option in the area. For just SGD $7, you get a filling bowl of noodles with six ingredients—even big eaters will find it sufficient. Everything is fresh, but their signature items are the fried famous meatballs and the delicious Korean mushrooms. If you need a quick, simple, and appetizing meal while you're in the area, this is a great choice. I especially appreciated their streamlined and efficient system; the staff operates with impressive speed and precision.

Finally tried this ytf and this place is cash only. Price is $7 for 6pcs + noodle/rice or 7pcs no carb. They can do dry or soup. The famous fried meatball is not my cup of tea but the ytf taste is pretty nice. Soup are just okay, the dry one is better.

The first time I ate this Yong tau fu was in early 2000s, at Lucky Plaza basement. It was very good. The signature dish was the home made meat balls. Over the year it has gained popularity and relocated to the 6th floor of LUCKY PLAZA. I continue to eat this YTF for more than 20 years. The food is fresh, tasty, delicious, the chilli and sweet sauce are also very good. Personal touch service with many helpers. Peak hours are from 12 noon to 1 pm. You cannot chop seat with tissue paper or umbrella - I love it this no tissue system. After you order, they will find seats for you, or ask you to wait. Their human brain Q system is super good. Singapore government should bring foreign ministers to come to try this authentic delicious YTF with personal touch service. I have not been disappointed for more than 20 years with this store. Of course, price has increased. So does everywhere else.

I recently visited My Favourite Cafe Yong Tau Foo at Lucky Plaza, and my experience was quite enjoyable overall.
The yong tau foo selection was impressive, with a variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. I opted for the soup version, and the broth was flavorful, though I wished it had a bit more depth. The tofu and vegetables were perfectly cooked, retaining their freshness and texture.
One downside was the seating availability; the cafe can get quite crowded, making it a challenge to find a table during peak times. Additionally, the prices were slightly higher than I expected for a casual eatery, but the quality of the food somewhat justified it.
Overall, My Favourite Cafe Yong Tau Foo is a solid choice if you’re in the area and craving a comforting bowl of yong tau foo. I’d definitely return to try more of their offerings!

Went back twice!
Located at Lucky Plaza Level 6, this Yong Tau Foo spot lets you pick your ingredients before the staff guides you to a seat. Expect a queue during lunch, but personally find the wait’s worth it. Food comes out quickly, prices are reasonable given the location and the fried meatball is a must-try!
