Monster Planet brings its halal Japanese curry concept to The Centrepoint at units 01-33C/D, serving Singapore's Muslim community and curry enthusiasts with its signature demi-glace curry rice. Founded in Singapore in 2018, the franchise has expanded to six locations across the island, establishing itself as a notable player in the halal Japanese dining segment that remains underserved despite Singapore's substantial Muslim population.
The restaurant's signature offering centres on its demi-glace curry, prepared with a blend of 14 different vegetables and spices that create depth and complexity beyond standard Japanese curry house preparations. This halal certification opens Monster Planet to customers who might otherwise be excluded from Japanese curry dining, whilst the flavour profile appeals to both Muslim diners and general curry lovers seeking quality Japanese-style curry. The menu extends beyond curry rice to include various Japanese comfort food items, all prepared according to halal requirements.
Monster Planet's Centrepoint location operates daily from 11.30am to 9pm, accommodating lunch, dinner, and late afternoon dining occasions. The ground-floor positioning at The Centrepoint provides visibility and accessibility for shoppers exploring the mall, whilst the halal certification differentiates Monster Planet from non-halal Japanese restaurants that dominate Orchard Road. The restaurant's ability to deliver authentic Japanese flavours within halal parameters demonstrates the growing sophistication of halal dining in Singapore, where Muslim consumers increasingly expect diverse cuisine options rather than being limited to Malay or Middle Eastern food.
The EN Group's ownership brings operational expertise and expansion capability, supporting Monster Planet's growth from a single concept to a multi-outlet chain. Online ordering through Oddle provides additional convenience for customers seeking takeaway or delivery, complementing the dine-in experience. The Centrepoint location serves as one of Monster Planet's key outlets, benefiting from Orchard Road's tourist and shopper traffic.

Monster Planet – A Halal Gem on Orchard Road!
While strolling around Orchard Road in search of halal food, we stumbled upon Monster Planet on Level 1 of Centrepoint Mall — and what a lucky find!
We went for one of their best sellers: Super Monster Curry – Double Yaki Beef. When it arrived, we were genuinely shocked by the huge portion size — served on a massive plate! Our first thought was, “How are we going to finish this?” 😄
But surprise — everything tasted great! The curry was rich and flavorful, the beef was well-cooked, and every bite was satisfying.
Definitely a fun, filling, and delicious halal dining option in the heart of Orchard Road. Highly recommended if you’re nearby and hungry!

On the 3rd July, me and my fiancé ate our dinner here around 6+. The staff that attended to us were really friendly, gave us an excellent service and hospitality. The food was bizarre and I've never tasted better Japanese curry before. Keep up the good work abang🫡

Decent food and services.
Food was fried to perfection. Beef was marinated well.
Ordered their biggest portion thinking that we (two of us) can finish it but man I was wrong.

Perfect birthday celebration at this restaurant with our friends. The fish I had was moist and tender. Portion was huge and the curry was nice. I chose normal level and it was very mild. Restaurant staff were very attentive and provided additional chilli sauce for us to add if necessary. The restaurant also decorated the place for us and surprised the group with ice cream and thick toast cake. Thank you for making the occasion special with the extra touches.

We've missed their beloved delicious food ever since the family favourite one at Paya Lebar Square disappointingly stopped being halal. So when my daughter said they've an outlet at Orchard and we needed a break from traditional iftar food we all jumped on it. And glad we did.
Before anything else it will be a remiss on my part not to acknowledge and give a special grateful and appreciative mention to Aisyah who fronted the restaurant. Knowing we were there to break fast as a family she empathised and kindly gave the last available table for four to us. She was also warmly gentle, kind and kept us assured — through her team of equally attentive and kind servers — that we would get our food in time to break fast. And the lovely simple offering of a serving of dates to help just break our fast first just moved and touched us. For that alone we were bowled over.
As for the food what's not to like and re-review what are already well–known and –loved fantastic food they offer. The staple classic signatures that each of us like remain the same and wonderfully familiarly soul satisfying for all of us. My son, who missed the Ramen selections of their signature Japanese curry, got his and he was just simply happy tucking in. A must mention is the side simple salad they serve which to me is just delish and I can eat a whole bowl. The food is just brilliant.
For most families Ramadan is one we all look forward to. A blessed time to feed our soul to be close to ☝🏻 as we empty our stomach. It is also a wonderful thanksgiving or kesyukuran time to be with our loved ones during sahur or suhoor and iftar or waktu buka. And Monster Planet, since it's halal, for us is ideal for the whole family.
