The crab is a crying shame, muddy and not firm at all. The prawns, although fresh, failed to do hotel standard cleaning too, veins abound. See picture. Other than that and a rather weird service staff who when on about explaining having a Thai parent and seemingly couldn’t understand our standard local English when enquiring where the toilet is, the venue some how seems to bounce sound all over the place at peak dinner time. It can be quite a din saved for the calm lightings and quality of cutlery that adds some class. Cold crab isn’t the freshest nor sweet, no fresh oyster except the cheese grilled version. Dessert selection is passable, with kuehs, Cheng Tng and mango sago, drinks option has good variety too. One coffee machine seems faulty so need to queue for coffee at the only available machine. The grilled big head prawn is the best with the cheese grilled scallops. So is the Angus beef steak and dried laksa pasta. Bak Kut teh is terribly saltish. Sashimi only has two choice while there are some variety of sushi. Hokkien mee is all soggy sadly. There’s a good National Day offer going on currently.
