Reasonable food place in Orchard! Will definitely bring more people to eat so I can order more next time
I love their pork chop curry rice very much!
Even though the pork chop looks thin and dry, somehow, it goes extremely well with the curry!
Oyster omelette is crispy and nice
Hokkian mee is so so for me

One of my family's favourite places to go to for local delights. Ordered fried fish soup, pork belly curry rice, fish and lala white beehoon, prawn paste chicken and fried oyster this time. The white beehoon is flavourful and good portion. Their oyster omelette is one of a kind, special on it's own. So crispy and good proportion of starch and egg. Oysters are plumb and juicy.
Always a homely place to gather with friends and family over very good food.

Oh my goodness, the Pork Chop Curry Rice is absolutely amazing! It’s so delicious, and everything in the dish is cooked to perfection. The meat is so tasty and crispy, and the curry is flavorful, just right in terms of spiciness and sweetness. The egg is cooked to a soft-boiled perfection, with the yolk just slightly jammy. And the cabbage is so delicious, it really completes the meal. I finished it all off with a glass of refreshing Homemade Honey Yuzu.
The staff are also super responsive and friendly.
I found this restaurant on Seth Lui’s blog, and I’m so happy with the experience. I definitely plan to come back again. There were lots of patrons who booked tables for the weekend gathering.

I was craving a hearty, warm meal and found this place; it definitely added to my go-to list!
The price was pretty affordable for the portion size. My favorite must be the pork chop with rice. Their curry was bold and savory; the pork cutlet was pretty big, the egg was sweet, which I like, and the cabbage was so yummy! I can say it's different from other pork chop rice I've had before.
Their fried fish soup was also nice! The fish meat was thick, and the broth was so soothing, with a mild seafood flavor.

Maddies Kitchen’s prawn hor fun is smooth and tasty, filled with fresh prawns and tender fish in a rich, savoury gravy.
Eating here in a local shopping mall really feels like you’re dining like a local. The prawn paste chicken is extra crispy and flavourful, and the claypot curry vegetables have soft tofu, carrots, and okra soaking up every bit of that creamy curry goodness.
Comfort food at its best.

Had a pretty good and fuss free meal at Maddie's. I ordered their pork chop curry rice with add on of pork belly. It was a good sized portion, affordable and quick. Highly recommend for a quick lunch time meal.

Delicious food, reasonable prices, great service and nice ambience. The very tasty salt and pepper fried tofu was steaming hot inside. My daughter scooped up the last bits of sweet sour pork sauce on the plate. Not a morsel left Highly recommended!

Very yummy food. But it's oily and salty 🤪
The oyster omelette was mostly flour, but it was very crispy. The oysters were fresh too
The beef char kway teow had a strong wok hei taste, and was salty, but very tasty
The hokkien mee was delicious; it's the wet kind (which is the kind I like). Very tasty

A hidden Gem zichar in the corner of Far East Plaza, this restaurant serves many dishes done quite to perfection with Wok hey.
Beef Hor fun 9/10- A lot of wok hey, with a delicious savoury black bean sauce, bittergourd which were soft and not too bitter, and beef tenderloin slices which were thick enough to absorb the sauce.
Seafood Soup 9/10 - Tasty seafood soup that came with fresh big prawns, fish, meatball(I think with dried fish powder), fish maw. Warmed my soul.
Sambal Sotong 9/10 - big fresh thick cuts of squid (I hate those thin kinds) that has a chewy bite to it, wok fried to perfection with sambal
Beef cube with Garlic - 8/10 - Chunky beef cooked medium rare with garlic. Not bad but overshadowed by the dishes above.
Oyster Omelette - 8/10 - Their rendition of oyster omelette served with thick crispy omelette and plumb oysters. It’s alright but overshadowed once again by the first 3 dishes

Beef tenderloin hor fun ($14.80 for smaller plate) - Tender beef though the sauce was a little peppery and watery.
From earlier orders:
Oyster omelette ($11.80 for small) - Crisp omelette. Large oysters of ok freshness.
Beef tenderloin hor fun ($14.80) - Good hor fun and beef.
Pig trotter bee hoon ($12.80 for small) - Much less meat than before though the flavour of the bee hoon was still great.
Pig trotter bee hoon ($12.80 for smaller) - tender, fatty meat and flavourful, moist bee hoon.
Pig trotter bee hoon (猪脚米粉) ($11.80 for smaller) - The meat was tender, and there was a good mix of meat and fat. The bee hoon was soaked with flavourful gravy. The chestnuts, mushrooms, and green chillies went well with the dish.
Oyster omelette (耗煎) ($17.80 for medium) - Plump, fresh oysters, and crispy, chewy omelette, which was made up of pre-cut pieces.
Pig trotter with bee hoon - great. The chestnuts and mushrooms went well with the pig trotters. Oyster omelette - enjoyable with its plump and fresh oysters, chewy texture of omelette, cilantro, and sour and spicy sauce. But I wished there were more oysters.
Egg gravy beef hor fun - nice. I liked the tender slices of tenderloin and fragrant hor fun.
Black bean beef hor fun - too watery.
Ngoh Hiang - good flavour and texture.
Stir fried kai lan with garlic - good.
