A True Hidden Gem in Orchard!
Big thanks to Angela for introducing me to this amazing spot tucked away in the heart of Orchard.
I first tried the curry rice—light yet flavorful curry, soft stewed cabbage, and a perfectly crispy pork chop. Comfort food at its best! The coffee is also well-brewed and not too sweet—just right.
I’ve gone back several times to try more dishes. The Hokkien mee is fantastic—authentic taste, big juicy prawns, and a delicious homemade chilli that ties it all together. One of the best I’ve had.
The hor fun I had today was equally great—fragrant sauce, mild wok hei, and every bite was satisfying.
If you’re looking for quality local food in Orchard, this place is a must-try!

Food was delicious.
The crab with bee hoon needs to be ordered in advance and was worth it.
Also ordered the bean sprouts with salted fish that was perfected done; wok fire was strong enough so it was Al Dente and wasn’t soggy.
And my kids loved the Sweet and Sour pork which surprisingly many places screw it up.
Two thumbs up. Will be back.

Terrible service and food. I was standing outside waiting to be seared and the staff saw me, but ignored me. She kept talking to another customer and cant be bothered to let another staff know that I’m queueing to get seated. This took more than 10mins and still no one attended to me. When it came to my turn to order, the staff went to the kitchen instead. I thought the food will be saving grace, but it was hypertension and high blood pressure. Everything was maximumly salty and you could barely taste any meat of the pork chop given the paper thinness. Not too sure about the other ratings, but Encik Tan tastes better. Thank goodness the price was decent. P.S. I had to eat with prawn shell under the chair

Was brought to Maddie’s by special friend who highly recom here. All the dishes we ordered, oyster omellette, ngohiang, chilli wanton, hainan curry rice were truly local 5 star excellent and chng tng was top notch had tapao extras.
Unfort, i had a toilet run shiver at 4am and rest of day mild food poisoning ko… just suspect the oyster was culprit.🤔😭
