The food here was simply delicious and I’ll definitely come back for more! I had the al granchio and carbonara. Both dishes had several layers to its taste and it hits you at different stages. The al granchio had a rich seafood flavour while the carbonara had the smoky taste due to the guanciale. Simply delectable!
I also enjoyed their secret chicken, juicy and tender and tastes just as nice alone, without the tartar sauce. But of course, try the tartar dip too!
The service was warm and friendly which added to the pleasant dining experience. Feels almost like I’m eating pasta out of someone’s home kitchen 😁 Highly recommended!

Small, cosy place with great service! Dishes were served promptly upon ordering. Wonderful recommendation by staff of their menu which didn’t disappoint! Generous servings of cheese to go along with the pasta. We ordered the regular carbonara and the beef bolognese pastas. Pastas definitely felt fresh and high quality. The secret chicken was also a great treat! Their burrata was also commendable! Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Reserved 6.30pm slot and we are there early at 6pm. Very nice that they let us in and explain the menu and the different carbonara. Food is prefect. The texture is the right texture though I’m not used to it haha. A bit hard and chewy which my husband said this is the right texture that pasta should be cooked. Portion looks small but super filling. We order the most loved normal carbonara and the crab meat pasta. Both are nice and the chicken is very nice too. Husband said this is the best carbonara that he ate. I’m not a cream pasta person so a bit too much for me. Will try the aglio and the pancake next time !:)

This is a hidden gem in Orchard Road.. but judging by how good the food is and how packed the place was (even on a Thursday), it’s not going to be hidden for very long!
The establishmen is pretty small, having 12 seats (hence reservations are a must!) but that helps enhance the cosy and convivial atmosphere. We were very well taken care of here.
Star dishes: the Secret Chicken - delicious as a starter, and the house-made tartar sauce was simply addictive; the Al Granchio - which was just permeated with delicious crab flavours; the carbonara - this is one of the very rare places that uses guanciale; and the bolognese - very hearty, very meaty, but not at all heavy on the palate. I loved the pesto as well - the basil was so aromatic. All fresh pasta were cooked to al dente perfection.
Definitely recommended! Great food and great service from the La Pasta team!

Amazing pastas! We had 3 different ones, the carbonara guanciale, meat ball marinara and anchovies spaghetti! And also the secret chicken which is actually like a karaage with the best marinade🥰

Our orders:
Garlic butter shrimp
Secret chicken x2
Rigatoni al Granchio
Campanelle Amatriciana
Campanelle al Tartufo
Service was absolutely wonderful. Justin patiently introduced the menu to us. Ensuring that we had a good meal.
We had a hearty and mouth watering meal. Garlic butter shrimp was nicely done. Each of our pasta was cooked nicely and not gelat at all.
And yes, u didn't see wrong. We ordered another portion of secret chicken. Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender inside.

We tried the Secret Chicken, Rigatoni Granchio and Campanelle Tartufo, and each dish showed a lot of care in the way it was prepared.
The Secret Chicken stood out for its balance — the skin was properly crisp without being oily, and the seasoning felt intentional rather than heavy-handed.
The Rigatoni Granchio had a clean crab flavour that came through nicely, with a sauce that coated the pasta without drowning it. The rigatoni was cooked al dente, giving each bite a satisfying firmness.
The Campanelle Tartufo was rich, but stopped short of being overly heavy. The pasta was cooked spot-on, and the truffle was used with restraint — enough to add depth and aroma without being too overpowering.
Overall, it was a genuinely enjoyable meal. The host’s friendliness and clear knowledge of the menu added to the experience and made the evening feel even more welcoming!

Service was excellent. Staff was very friendly and introduced some of their signatures.
My gf and I ordered the Secret Chicken, Bolognese Pasta and the Authentic Carbonara. Pastas were well cooked and had a nice bite to them. The accompanying sauces tasted good. Personally, the carbonara was on the saltier end and the sauce could be slightly more creamy. We also wished the portion size could be larger.
As for the secret chicken, I will say that it is very close to chicken nanban. Very addictive pairing of tangy sweet sauce with an interesting semi-breaded fried chicken. Likewise, we also wished there was more chicken.
All in all, the atmosphere is very good. Food was good and would recommend others to give it a try although it is on the pricier end.

Came to La Pasta on a friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and great value, especially considering the location in Orchard. The host was friendly and very detailed in his explanation of each dish and his recommendations, which made the experience even better.
We ordered their secret chicken, which was juicy and coated in a light, crispy batter. The guanciale carbonara was creamy but not overly heavy, and the cacio e pepe came with a helpful heads-up from the host about its natural saltiness from the cheese — a bit much for my wife, but perfect for someone like me who loves bold, cheesy flavours.
Overall, a wonderful meal with warm service. I’d definitely come back again to try more of their dishes.

Loved the burrata and Cacio e Pepe (with guanciale) was reminiscent of the one I had in Rome 😋
We had a great dinner experience here. Guys manning the restaurant were very attentive and took great care of all diners. Other dishes we had were the crab meat rigatoni and creamy mushroom pasta. Both delicious too!
