Was served by Edmund. Have been a frequent customer as I found the pens to be well made and holds some sentimental value especially as a farewell gift.
Edmund was the 1st to have offered to do a gift wrapping service after knowing that I intended to gift the pen away.
Highly appreciated this gesture and thankful for this!

While I am proceeding with an official complaint to Lamy management, I feel compelled to share this here publicly for the benefit of other customers: this was the most dismissive and disrespectful shopping experience I have EVER had over something as simple as buying a …….. pen !!
I visited the store for a gift purchase. From the moment I entered, the shopkeeper appeared disinterested, reluctant to answer product questions or suggest suitable options. I could have overlooked the lack of enthusiasm but what followed made it clear this was not just poor service it was active disregard for the customer.
I was told that name engraving would take 5–10 minutes. I accepted this and waited within full view of the counter so that she could easily signal me when it was ready. Instead I was left standing there for 20 minutes without a word. When I questioned harshly as I felt foolish wasted time why there had been no notification, her “excuse” was that she “didn’t want to shout.” I was not even a few meters away hardly “shouting” distance. The irony? She later did raise her voice, asking, “What do you want?” in a tone that was far louder and sharper than any simple notification would have been.
Good service is not complicated - it is basic courtesy, clear communication, and respect for the customer’s time. Unfortunately, Lamy’s hiring failed on all counts. A premium pen brand deserves a standard of service that matches its products. This was the exact opposite.
PS – The shopkeeper’s parting words to me were, “You so power.” Not sure if it was meant as a compliment, a jab, or just proof that customer service here is as refined as her rather shocking English grammar :)

The LAMY 2000 i tested, the salesperson told me someone dropped and damaged it already.. so why am i wasting the time travel all the way to 313 testing a damaged pen. feedback to get their basics sorted.
Don't waste everybody time.
no new pen to test, no narrower nib to test. $350 for a bold stroke without variation thickness for the lamy 2000.
2 star, there was other selection of cheaper pens to test.

Wanted to get more info and help from the sales person but her replies were very redundant, not helpful at all. Tested the pens, the pens were alright. I wouldn’t purchase from a shop that has such bad service. It’s honestly as if they don’t want your business at all. Wouldn’t recommend 👎 would have given much better rating with a helpful customer service.

Bought a pen there from a young guy. No issues. Asked questions about refilling pen and can answer. Also got try pen before buying.

signage said a person would return at 11. waited till 11.40 but no employee.. called other lamy stores to hear the store would open at 13.00.... disappointing experience and could do better.
I'd recommend going to the one near carlton city hotel. much nicer people.

So disappointed. I came twice but it always closed and just put a post says will be back. This time I finally found it's open. After chose a pen the sales lady told me there are different color without telling me the price is also different. Only After I print words on the pen and the moment i pay the bill it was told that i have to be charged double. Plus the words on the pen is not even aligned. I feel so disappointed and will never purchase one single item again in this shop. Used to purchase many times but the experience today is really out of my tolerance

Had a great purchase experience from the Malay sales lady at the store. She was patient and explained details of the pen to me before I made a decision. Also gave me a free gift as they are running a promotion. When she knew that the purchase was a gift she wrapped both pen nicely.
Went back again to purchase another pen but the malay sales lady was not there. Another salesperson was on duty. This time my purchase took only 15mins as I felt like she was rushing through the transaction. Gave me everything in a box and that’s it. Made me realise how much difference it made to have good service.

Wanted to buy a pen as a gift and the sales person was very helpful in helping me decide what to get. She recommended Lamy 2000 and got it engraved. Free engraving and was done fast! Would come by again next time

Great Customer Service and very in depth product knowledge sharing by Ms Nor Aini during my purchase on 11 Mar 23, strongly recommended for anyone looking for Lamy pen from Lamy Singapore.
(Hope Lamy Singapore brings back Lamy Scala Infinite Orange one day again).
