First time here and had a pretty good experience. The restaurant was kinda cosy, nice decor, busy but not noisy. The menu was true to its Spanish roots. We had 3 tapas and a paella to share for 2. Service was prompt and food arrived pretty fast. I highly recommend the charcoal grilled iberico pork. It was not on the recommended list, but I really found it good, and value for money. The gambas was alright. It could be a bit more garlicky. And I thought it was special as there was no colour since most other gambas was cooked red. The papatas was one of the better one I had. Lastly the squid ink pasta was above average. Combine all these together, it was really a good meal. Slightly disappointed with their cocktail though. The alcohol was too light.

Went there for lunch with my husband on the National Day.
Cozy environment, foods and service were all great. I love the mushroom soup, Garlic butter clam, and dark chocolate cake!
42++ for the 3 lunch course set, good deal!

La Taperia has a lovely atmosphere and the service was good, staff were welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy a nice evening out.
While most of the dishes were enjoyable, a few didn’t quite match my personal taste, particularly the pork leg. That said, taste is subjective, and there’s still a lot to like on the menu such as paella and lamb shanks.
All in all, a solid dining experience and worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Celebrated birthday here.
Food: Had the vegetable paella. Nice but not mind-blowing. Nice enough to intrigue me into trying their other paellas someday though! Quantity is OK, comparable to another good Spanish eatery.
Price: Price point is comparable to another good Spanish eatery.
Service: This is the most commendable aspect. Wait staff are attentive but not overbearing. Considering some of the wait staff look very young (students), it's particularly commendable. They even prepared a complimentary birthday cake! At the end, they also checked in on how the meal was. I really appreciated the good service.
Overall: Would recommend and would try their other paella to find their best paella dish!

Had a dinner gathering for 10 at La Tapería, a Spanish restaurant with a cosy, casual vibe.
The food was a mix of hits and misses. Standouts included the crispy baby squid, grilled squid leg, seafood stew, charcoal-grilled striploin, and churros. However, the paella lacked depth of flavour, and the suckling pig could have been crispier rather than rubbery.
Service and the waiting time between dishes could be improved for a smoother dining experience
