2025.12.19 I only discovered this restaurant this week bec the 2 Korean restaurants upstairs are always so full. And have been here 2 times… and am sad to hear they are moving to Jakarta after Christmas. There goes another great restaurant. Really love their set lunches. Small servings but excellent ingredients, plating and service.

Chef Sasaki san delighted with a deft Italian Japanese touch to his food. The Omi Wagyu Bresaola exemplified that. Melt in the mouth deliciousness served on a grilled Japanese eggplant. The Hokkaido corn cold pasta was another hit, with the refreshing sweet flavor of the corn combining well with the savory tagliolini. Usually take my beef medium rare, but was advised to try it medium due to the high marbling of the Omi. Great advice indeed, with the green apple wasabi paring well to keep the palate refreshed. First time having zucchini in my dessert to round off a good meal.

Impeccable service in a semi-casual setting is such a rare find in Singapore. They clearly hire well — the staff are very well-trained, professional, and consistently attentive. A genuinely impressive experience from start to finish.

This is my nth time here and over the years the quality of the food has kept its high standard and service as always, has been impeccable. The chef and his team has done really well with their version of Japanese-Italian dishes well.

My first time eating at a fancier place. Food was amazing. Service was amazing too. Ambience was amazing. They catered to my financé birthday request too, giving a complimentary tiramisu. Highly recommend!

Great service and value. Esp the happy hour wine. The 8 course is very wholesome and good price for 188$. With wagyu and iberico level pork. The dessert tomato ravioli with olive oil gelato blew me off! Clean and crisp on the palate to end the course beautifully.

We came for lunch and left wishing we had space for more. Every dish at La D’Oro felt like a quiet celebration of Italian tradition — elevated with finesse. From the handmade pasta to the perfectly cooked proteins, nothing felt overdone. Just honest, delicious food in an elegant setting. Service was warm and attentive without being intrusive. A gem for anyone looking for a power lunch that doesn’t compromise on soul. We’ll be back — probably sooner than we should.

Really amazing experience from a hidden gem in orchard. HH was great on weekends, bettee on weekdays. The OMI BEEF was awesome, lacking of one side though at least. I would love to have more dishes there but too full from wine . Bolognese was great, chef was kind enough to change the uni pasta to this. It was really too horrid the uni . Desserts were awesome

I have been intrigued by the raving reviews I read of this place, so I made a deliberate effort to visit for lunch. And i have since become a fan. The food was fabulous. Service was prompt. And the ambience stylishly comforting. The superb blend of Italian and Japanese favours is a win for this place. The Hokkaido Uni pasta, for instance, was super yummy and the melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu steak was simply heavenly. Fantastic set lunch deals , including house pours at $8.
