Authentic and tasty Thai food at great prices. Friendly service and cosy environment. A reliable spot for satisfying Thai cravings!

Service of staffs were friendly at the time of visit at 5pm for early dinner. Food was average in my opinion example the tom yum soup was too salty, tried the signature egg prawn omelette however it felt hollow like there was lack of eggs just pure fluffy and crispy which can be quite “ger lat”. Stir fried basil pork wasn’t great as it tasted like oyster sauce only and kang kong was poor lack of garlic taste therefore not worth the hype. PS, mango sticky rice can consider serving after dinner or allow patrons to decide before or after dinner.
The Rundown
When I arrived at the eatery, I thought the food might be legit. However after trying out couple of their dishes, felt their thai dishes were already localised, lacking the original Thai's kick & depth. The kra pao was surprisingly sweet & lacking the heat. Perhaps the tom yum mama was more enjoyable than the rest. The roast pork could be more tender.

Overall a no frills eatery. The Korat Tom Yum Mama ($32, for sharing by 2-3 pax) came stuffed with ingredients - the base was a flavourful tom yum broth and contained generous amount of ingredients like prawns, squid, crab meat pieces, meatballs, roast pork belly etc. The broth was tasty with a great spicy-sour balance, such a satisfying dish! Also tried the Mango Sticky Rice ($7) which was decent but definitely had better ones elsewhere! The eatery was quite full when we were there on a Saturday afternoon, would recommend making a reservation just in case!
Another Big Bite
Enjoyed Thai cuisine for lunch. We enjoyed a lot the Tom Kha-sour and spicy fried Seabass in coconut milk. Slurping up the flavorful sour with creamy broth. The crispy fish soaked up the broth. New to us is Chu Chee-Thick Red Curry Style Beef & Deep Fried Garlic Pepper Pork. Both full of flavor and goes so well with fragrant rice. Crunchy Crispy Chicken Skin is a lovely snack to munch on. Of course, tasty Stir fry Kai Lan completes our meal. Recommend to try.

one of the most famous thai food in orchard area, it’s situated within orchard towers and you will have to walk abit from orchard MRT we went on a weekday night, not too crowded but still needed to wait for seats even with reservation, because the sitting area is quite small. nevertheless, we could order our food while waiting for the seats, so no time was wasted we ordered 5 dishes and all of the dishes were a hit! signature crispy omelette has a crispy texture, but can’t eat too much cause it has lots of oil. tomyum mama is good for sharing, soup is sour and savoury. green curry is on the savory side and goes well with chicken meat to absorb those juices. lastly, the pork belly was plump and goes well with their homemade chilli sauce overall was $99 for 5 pax, okay price for orchard area food

Quite disappointed with the food here, expected it to be better. Ordered the deep fried pork belly, egg omelette, spicy kang kong and tom yum soup. All dishes tasted underwhelming, except for the pork belly. The pork belly was pretty good, skin was crispy and meat was tender. The egg omelette was really thin and filled with flour. I could barely taste the eggs. Kang kong was not tasty and spicy like what the name on the menu suggests. Tom yum soup was slightly diluted, lacked flavour and spice.

Great Authentic Thai Food in the Heart of Orchard. The Tom Yum Soup is delicious and addictive. The Fried Egg is Fluffy and goes very well with the Soup. Deep Fried Garlic Pork is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Definitely will go back. Do make sure you make a reservation in advance as it can get very crowded and the waiting time ia average 1 ro 2 hours.
