The steak was cooked sometime ago then kept then other plates were cooked for other table then chef came back to put flames on the steak, about 10 min later with pre-cooked veggies. Hence, meat was served warm not very hot which became quickly cold.
Further the order got mixed up we received something we didn't order. So different servers and chef keep on checking to each other in front of us and came to talk to us back and forth for 3-4 times. They discussed if how they will deal with this, or even they will remove some items from our original menu to compensate for the expensive beef served by mistake. Meanwhile our steak in pieces got all cold. In the end, we didn't really have time to enjoy the meat in peace with a glass of wine, we ended up paying 230 dollar for two people within 1 hour of quick lunch.
I think it's not really worth the bill and the salt and butter overpower the meat. There is only 1 chef to serve many tables. Good thing is that staff are friendly. I would probably not going back though.

Took my fiancee to this place for vday and I have to say it's definitely one to forget, due to the lacklustre service.
We were one of the first few to arrive, and it took on average about 20 mins for each dish to arrive.
Waved at the waitress, asked on the food arrival time and she acknowledged upfront but didn't provide a follow up or a response - I must say this is once in a lifetime abysmal service.
The final straw for me was the ice cream which they took another 20 mins to serve - which essentially just required two scoops from the fridge and didn't need to take longer than 30 seconds.
When footing my bill, I got to understand from the operation manager that they were two person down on that day. In my mind, I just wanted to share that as operation manager in f&b industry, it is staple situation to deal with manpower issue.

My favourite Japanese restaurant, we dine here 3 to 4 times a month. We especially love the variety of fresh fish flown in from Japan, which can be served grilled or sashimi. It's clear the restaurant doesn't take shortcuts and serves good quality while trying to keep prices reasonable. Even the staff are one of the best I've encountered. Always friendly and giving good recommendations. I would dine here every day if I could.

Unexpected charge for Eggs! Be warned!
I recently dined at this teppanyaki restaurant with high hopes for a delicious and entertaining meal. While the overall atmosphere was acceptable, the chef did not put on much of a show, and did not interact with us much. I was, however, left disappointed by an unexpected charge on our bill.
During our meal, the waiter asked if we would like eggs added to our fried rice, and we eagerly agreed. However, we were caught off guard when we received our bill and discovered that we had been charged an additional $6 per egg, there were two of us so that was $12. This extra cost significantly impacted our overall satisfaction with the dining experience.
I believe the staff should have been more transparent about the additional charges associated with adding ingredients to our dishes. It's essential for customers to be informed about any extra costs upfront so that they can make informed decisions about their meal choices.
Unfortunately, this unexpected expense put a damper on an otherwise acceptable teppanyaki experience. I hope the restaurant will take this feedback into consideration and improve their communication with customers in the future.

Had the most wonderful time here today. Authentic Japanese flair meets fusion in a welcoming space.
Their prix fixe lunch is such a steal, for $58++ you get a combination of 2 appetisers, 1 main, rice and soup paired with seasonal vegetables and round off with a dessert of the day. Everything was superbly executed and complex in flavours but if I were to pick some highlights:
- The Canadian pork loin for the main was so succulent, flavourful and juicy. Truly delightful!
- The assorted vegetables is another hit. The crunchy texture, the umami and the nuttiness of the purple cauliflower, shiitake, red capsicum and zucchini combine harmoniously together..
- The wines! What an eclectic collection (many of them are available by the glass!) The staff gave great wine recommendations, all of them elevated the food perfectly.
Julie, who attended to us was very friendly and explained the dishes excellently. Service was at a good pace. The head chef, Choon, also shared with us some interesting facts about the food, which is always a nice touch and makes our meal extra special.
Sometimes a restaurant completely nails it and delivers exactly what your hungry soul didn’t know it was craving. Ki did exactly that. Thank you for a satisfying, hearty experience.
