Food was mid but this is one of the most disappointing teppanyaki in terms of service. The waiting time was atrocious so was the pace of the whole thing. Came on a Monday lunch, not many people. I ordered the executive lunch set and it took 40 min to serve 3 pcs of sashimi. Cmon???
After that all the dishes just came like at once. Then there was another 30 min wait for the beef. Honestly, the appetisers did not look very worthy of a teppanyaki. Chawanmushi was not bad and the potato salad.
I was looking around waiting for the beef and
I realised that there was four more people who sat at the counter for teppanyaki. They were served like 3 dishes before I even got my beef! What!!!????
The beef was rare although I wanted it medium. It was served without wasabi and sauce which was not traditional but I think still can accept it.

Took my fiancee to this place for vday and I have to say it's definitely one to forget, due to the lacklustre service.
We were one of the first few to arrive, and it took on average about 20 mins for each dish to arrive.
Waved at the waitress, asked on the food arrival time and she acknowledged upfront but didn't provide a follow up or a response - I must say this is once in a lifetime abysmal service.
The final straw for me was the ice cream which they took another 20 mins to serve - which essentially just required two scoops from the fridge and didn't need to take longer than 30 seconds.
When footing my bill, I got to understand from the operation manager that they were two person down on that day. In my mind, I just wanted to share that as operation manager in f&b industry, it is staple situation to deal with manpower issue.

Unexpected charge for Eggs! Be warned!
I recently dined at this teppanyaki restaurant with high hopes for a delicious and entertaining meal. While the overall atmosphere was acceptable, the chef did not put on much of a show, and did not interact with us much. I was, however, left disappointed by an unexpected charge on our bill.
During our meal, the waiter asked if we would like eggs added to our fried rice, and we eagerly agreed. However, we were caught off guard when we received our bill and discovered that we had been charged an additional $6 per egg, there were two of us so that was $12. This extra cost significantly impacted our overall satisfaction with the dining experience.
I believe the staff should have been more transparent about the additional charges associated with adding ingredients to our dishes. It's essential for customers to be informed about any extra costs upfront so that they can make informed decisions about their meal choices.
Unfortunately, this unexpected expense put a damper on an otherwise acceptable teppanyaki experience. I hope the restaurant will take this feedback into consideration and improve their communication with customers in the future.

The dinner at Ki Teppan & Rogama left me absolutely delighted. The staff's service was impeccable, with each member of the team exuding warmth and professionalism. From the moment we were seated around the teppanyaki grill, the chef's performance was nothing short of mesmerizing. Not only did they skillfully prepare each dish right before our eyes, but they also entertained us with their culinary flair and showmanship. As for the food itself, every bite was a symphony of flavors, from the sizzling meats and seafood to the perfectly seasoned vegetables. Each dish was cooked to perfection, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity. Overall, my experience at the restaurant surpassed all expectations, making it a must-visit for anyone craving an unforgettable dining experience.

This place was simply lovely, and the number of reviews here don’t do it justice. Every single dish was on point with its flavours, textures and presentation. The service staff were very attentive and friendly and responded to our every need. The atmosphere was also a very strong draw as the restaurant is spacious yet quaint. We had kids with us and they had a lot of space outside to run around after the meal. Overall this was truly a top tier experience which left me so full and satisfied.

An update from my previous review. This restaurant is consistently good, even if not exceptional, which is an important achievement in an era of rising costs and staff turnover. It is still a favourite for both business and family meals due to the consistent good food and unobtrusive service that takes care of needs promptly while allowing for family or business conversation. On the teppanyaki side of the restaurant, the sets are good value. Beef and seafood are consistently good. Seasonal veg and sides also good. This restaurant always provides generous fried garlic slices on the side. And it has one of the most comprehensive sake lists around, which is also regularly updated with wide range of good quality choices.
